Leo,
There isn't a way to pick where the lighting is in the view prior to the full presentation view. At the top left is a check box for Apply Lighting Effects. If you uncheck that all the shadows seem to be removed. Does that help any?

Re: Make a MDF door with a flat "raise"
Stuart,
Once a profile is applied you cannot do any pocketing on that part. Make sure you follow the steps, create the pocket, constrain it, and then apply the profile. If you don't apply the constraints, the "door" won't be able to be resized.

Stuart,
Maybe this thread will shed some light http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtop ... =3&t=18019? Mostly look towards my response to Forrest.

Re: Edgebanding not displaying
Forrest, I can see it on my end as well when I create a batch with the standard slab door. I'll have to send to the software engineers to have a look. In the mean time you can create the same functionality by loading the Standard Upper Frameless, go to Construction Settings, bullet for None on the t...

Tommy,
I should have something that will work for you. I need your thm.ini located in C:\system. You can either post it here in a zipped folder or email it to cabinets@thermwood.com

Re: No picture of cab
Clint, Thank you for the response. I performed the steps you described and the program did load cabinet pics however the response to commands were extremely slow. The pics would hardly move and are too slow to use. I will look into having a new graphics card installed. Have a great day. Marvin Marv...

Re: Profile modeler
You can update to 6.17 again, download the attached file, unzip it, and place the dynamic.ini in C:\Rolling Nest. That should allow you to work in the later version. An adjustment was made to a tolerance setting. The software engineers are still backtracking to see why that specific tolerance number...

Re: No picture of cab
Marvin, Go to Edit, and then Settings/Preferences. Check the boxes for Force Software Rendering and Use Graphics Double Buffering. Click OK to exit Settings/Preferences and OK on the next dialog. Close eCabinets and open it back up. See if the issue persists. If it doesn't and the cabinet shows up a...

Re: Profile modeler
For that particular profile I'd like it to use the 1/4" BN for the main cutting with the 1/8" BN getting closer in the corners and the 1/8" end mill to clean out the step downs. Is that not possible? If I set the 1/4" BN to leave stock will it not do the entire profile again wit...

Re: Profile modeler
So I have two possible solutions to work around the issue: 1. Your group settings are calling for a 1/4" ballnose and 1/8" endmill to model. If you actually wanted the second tool to be an 1/8" ballnose(not sure as your previous post indicated both were ballnose bits), if you add a st...

Re: Profile modeler
The Save Tooling/Settings will only grab the tooling and settings from Control Nesting. It does not get us anything from Profile Modeler, your machines tool table, etc. Export gets us most everything.
