sorry for the confusion Doug... what you are telling me to do is what I have done... but it was several revisions ago that I last tried it, so maybe it will work for me now. I will have to give it another try. I haven't tried your new labels yet, it is also on the list of things to get to. Greg, sor...

Doug. I have several cabinets in my library that have multiple shelves that are slightly different depending on where they lie within the cabinet. For some reason, if I am to loose any part in a cut batch, it tends to be one of these shelves from a corner cabinet... machine always nests them on a 45...

Michael/Greg: when you hit the print button, there is a new button (new a few updates ago) for \"sheet settings\". click on this and there is an option box for printing part width and length. this will add the dimensions to the nest sheet printouts. and as Doug mentioned, he has created a ...

might seem simple, but I know I often overlook the simple things... have you checked your air pressure? and just for clarification, you're saying that the holder is going THROUGH the tool grippers, as in going too far? In the past, I have had a problem with the holder not getting pushed far enough i...

We use Panelmetrix for our doors. Works great once you get it figured out, and the training coures is great. not sure what they offer for training down there in Australia though. Would deffinately recommend this over Ecabs for large quantities of doors. I would recommend investing in the better pump...

Nice, Forrest... simultaneous postings lol
We have also had the same issues with the grade of the MDF. Accidentally cut a set last week out of the wrong stack of MDF and the finisher nearly cried as he had to re-apply multiple coats of primer to seal it up.

Neville, we run into the same problems with the junior sanders. Can't tell you how many times I have been called aross the shop to explain what happened to a couple of doors, only to have to explain to them that I couldn't have cut the wavy pattern they found if I tried... sander simply got bored an...

are you spending 10-30 minutes sanding EACH door? We run a pretty good number of doors through our thermwood machine, and I know that our finishers do not spend more than a couple of minutes sanding each door. As long as you make sure your set-up is good, it should leave you a pretty smooth door. We...

No problem George. To get it to cut out, once you have made your shapes, exit from contour mode, right-click and select \"cut/pocket using closed contour\". then select the shape, it should turn green. in the bottom right corner of the screen a \"next\" button will appear, click ...

not all of my labels are printing with the correct diagrams. I am still getting some stretchers with a diagram of a corner cabinet shelf on them. I might just be special though.

Are you talking about creating the chip trays in the other 4 sides? If that is what you are going for, trying taking the top into the part editor, then into contour mode. Right-click and select \"create edges\". You can then use the offset function to copy the lines a specified distance aw...

Hey Will

As Ryan and Joe said, check your layer names. Every time I come across that error it is because either I or the other occasional designer were rushing and just screwed up the layer names.

Hey Forrest I had a similar problem long ago, and cleaning up the harddrive fixed it that time. Lately I have been having serious issues with nesting times, just like a few others. Some have been so bad that the program actually shows as \"Not Responding\" in the program manager and I have...
