Re: eCabinet Productivity
Good morning , In staying with the theme of streamlining office processes can anyone recomend a hardware configuration that will improve rendering performance or at least speed up the process by settings adjustments. I currenty have a core i5 4670k processor running 3.4 GHz, 16 gigs of 1600MHz ram, ...

Re: Common top and bottom rail between cabs
Scott, You are correct, -- they do not resize. When I changed the center opening to 36" the left opening remained the same asit was and the right side reduced accordingly. it modified the frame but did not change the cabinets behind the frame. When I went back to the frame editor after going to...

Re: Importing hardware, moldings, wood components, etc
If you can, subscribe to the online training videos from Thermwood, there is a video that describes how to import images into Ecabinets. It costs around 25.00/ month to subscribe and you can cancel anytime. It is well worth taking a look. The videos take you through all aspects of Ecabinets, they ar...

Re: Common top and bottom rail between cabs
Good afternoon Scott, I simply took the cabinet that you created, made the changes to the faceframe as per my preferences and changed the width of the cabinet. I made it six inches wider and it resized and equalized all the openings automatically and without issue. Perhaps something in the cabinets ...

Re: Common top and bottom rail between cabs
Looks good Scott, The only thing I might have done has to do with my own preferences for construction. I would have made the mid style/mullions twice as wide as the outside stiles and I would have run them from top rail to bottom rail putting the drawer rails between them rather than running the dra...

Re: eCabinet Productivity
Something as simple as "Print assembly sheets" followed by hit the print button sounds a bit like a " wish list" item. I am considering hiring someone (Scott if he has time and I can afford his rate :D ) to do some work with excel to create a simple macro which when I export my c...

Jeremy,
I misread your post and chose max distance instead of max edge. My apologies. Here is my new pic.

Here is my picture. the only difference that I see is that you are using metric rather than imperial.

Jeremy,
I loaded standard drawer and followed your instructions. The right and left edges were affected as they were expected to be. What issue are you having?

Re: snap resolution
Good afternoon,
Tim, I tried your suggestion and it worked except that the roundoff is too far the other way . Scott, I tried your method and found it to be very quick and effective. Thankyou both.

snap resolution
Good morning, I am struggling a bit when I try to add dimensions in line drawing editor. Is there a way to tone down resolution or to adjust the pickbox in line editor so that it snaps to the proper place with a little less fuss. When I try to dimension cabinets the pickbox always snaps to a corner ...

Re: Tenon cleanup
Don,
I am sure if you phone in to Thermwood that someone will be kind enough to send you a link to the "link". I was having a lot of problems and the beta version fixed most of them.

Re: Tenon cleanup
For what it's worth. There is a beta version of the link 1.0.21 Beta 1. If you use a ShopBot you should use this version. If tenons are too long you might try setting the dado depth clearance deeper when you create your cabinet, if the tightness of your machine is similar to the tolerances you set i...

Re: Version 6.1 What Do You Think?
I have little experience with any other software, but I have been a woodworker for a long time. When I decided to get into the world of CNC this software was the deciding factor and it still is. I am thankful to the people at thermwood for providing this product and for the opportunity to share this...
