Re: Software Request

1). Not sure about face frames since I don't use that feature. 2 A-B). You can do this by creating an RTA pattern that is just a pilot hole and use lock dado, 100% thickness. If you just want the hole use RTA as joinery method. This works well but beware of the material thickness If I am thinking c...

Re: Software Request

I agree with the material thickness. It is aggravating to have to change the deck inset on every cabinet when you change the material thickness. Even if it is only 1/32" it dose throw every thing off. The deck placement should be set to the top of the bottom rail with the option to set the deck...

Re: Manually cutting a shape in middle of board??

Daniel I understand the method that you described and have used this in the past. But it requires too much math and setup time. (That is for me any how). Also If the 36x36 changes lets say you set up for a 36x36 and you cut 6 pieces. Then next week you need to cut 6 more and this time the 36x36 part...

Re: Manually cutting a shape in middle of board??

If you use a fixture offset then it will move the sheet witch is to my understanding 36"x36" by the offset value .this will not move the 6x6 part just the sheet. The collar could be increased for example a 8 inch collar but this collar would be applied on x and y . so if you wanted the 6x6...

Re: Manually cutting a shape in middle of board??

Could you clarify what you are wanting to do. Are you wanting to cut a 6"x6" pocket out of a part that is 36" square or are you just needing to cut a 6"x6" part from a 36" square sheet? The way that I would do this If I was wanting a 6"x6" part from a 36 inch ...

Re: angled front cabinet

Carl you would probably get more responses if you posted this in the eCabinets Software Forum. As For that type of cabinet The only way that I am aware of is to cut the angles on the parts in part editor and add a face frame from another cabinet and save it as a assembly

Re: Invalid character in EIA block

I get the same error some times I have found out that it is best to re wright the Cnc and start back on the sheet that the error happened on. On some occasions these errors might corrupt the code and continue to error Until the code is re written.

Re: Corner Cabinet Stretchers

Rick You can only add nailers and sleepers to corner cabinets.
To add a nailer click on the cabinet back and click add stretcher
to add a sleeper click on the toe kick and back and click add stretcher

Re: V-carve on 1997 C53 router

All post are different even within the same manufacture so it is doubtful that Mac3 post will work with your machine. V-Carve does how ever have several post that can be used with thermwood machines but you might have to modify them to work for yours.

Re: Please help me with shaker doors

You can use a slab door with a edgband material set to 0 thickness and apply the pockets then constrain them. This would allow you to show the doors on the cabinet. The draw back to this method is that you have to install the door/doors on the cabinet then apply the geometry and constraints. But you...
