Re: Profile modeler

For that particular profile I'd like it to use the 1/4" BN for the main cutting with the 1/8" BN getting closer in the corners and the 1/8" end mill to clean out the step downs. Is that not possible? If I set the 1/4" BN to leave stock will it not do the entire profile again with...

Re: Profile modeler

Here is another door with the same profile that I was able to get it to apply on a flat recess panel by not letting the profile touch the bottom of the pocket. I'm still getting the same error when trying to nest it though. It will however work as a single door in PM with the same setup. Maybe it ha...

Re: Profile modeler

Clint, I'm having a problem with these doors. It gives me a "Calculate Tool Path Error". I'm using a 1/4" BN and 1/8" BN. Can you take a look please?

Re: Profile modeler

That is basically what I'm trying to do but for whatever reason I'm getting an error. Maybe it has to do with the profile touching the bottom of the pocket. I'll try it a few different ways to see if I can get it to work.

Thanks, Forrest

Re: Profile modeler

I have other programs I can make the door shown (example only) with dedicated profile tooling. However if I need to do a custom profile I have to profile model it. In this case I'm just going to model it in Solidworks but when I have a bunch of different sizes that sucks. I profile modeled some door...

Profile modeler

Has anyone figured out a way to profile model the inside edge of a door with a flat recessed panel?

Re: Edge banding Question

That's the way it should work but it definitely doesn't. It's a pain in the but when you get parts undersized.

Air/Oil Separator

Anyone know the Air/Oil Separator part number for the Travaini 40hp TRO 500S-1A? I cannot find any information online and Travaini hasn't gotten back with me yet.

Thanks, Forrest

Re: glass Doors how to

Unfortunately Will it can't be done until they give us the option to make part edits on doors and save them off to a library so they can be applied on a global level. Been asking for that for well over 10 years. What I've been doing is taking my door list and create a batch file in the same job usin...

I'm still running Windows 2k without issues so I would assume W7 will be fine.

Re: Flip Ops Not Quite Right

Terry, I would second what Clint said about taking more although we only take .0625" or 1/16". I've found that sometimes the sheet is undersized to 48 7/16" so even the 1/16" trim just barely touches it.

Re: Restart halfway through a sheet

You have to start the program from the beginning and go through the wasteboard setting as well as pop the pins up. Should be on a "pins down" (M62L8 on my machine) command. Do a line search to the sheet you want to cut on, start at the same "pins down" line of code to get the she...
