How to add alternative joinery to eCabs?
I'd like to have the ability to use Festool Domino joinery within my ecabinet designs. I'm sure everyone would agree, that blind dado joinery is too complicated to mill manually, and in My PERSONAL OPINION, the Festool Domino is unmatched and unequaled in terms of speed, accuracy and dust collection...

Re: can't install eCabs, IE demanded?
I'm afraid I am going to regret installing IE. the last PC and the last Laptop I had both had IE, and it just kept piling on so many of it's "updates" that eventually, both computers were virtually useless. I never could remove a great deal of the junk the IE installs collected. -nothing b...

can't install eCabs, IE demanded?
I've finally got a decent computer, and am trying to install a fresh eCabs installation. I've DL'd it, but when I go to install, it stops dead in it's tracks and displays a message, which informs me it won't install unless I am using Internet Explorer 7 or higher??? do I HAVE to run IE? I have had a...

Getting back into eCab's, have some ?'s
Hello, it's been a while since I have been on this forum. as a matter of fact, I believe Summer of 2007 was about the last time I logged in IIRC... The reason was in fact nothing to do with eCabs system and certainly not the community, rather, a lack of computing power to operate and use eCabs. I si...

Desperately need help! can't get into ecabs tonight!
I haven't used ecabs for the past couple weeks due to a relocation. Well, wouldn't you know that Mr. Murphy has shown up tonight, as I promised a proposal and conceptual renderings for first thing tomorrow morning, and when I went to get into ecabinets, it says \"The Version Has Expired\" ...

Re:
I feel your pain, Kyle. A few questions: 1. How much free space on your hard disk drive? @40gigs remaining on the primary, @150 gigs remaining on the slave 1a. How often do you defrag the drive? I don't think I've ever done this, since I don't know what this means 2. How much RAM on your system? 2 ...

where to \"warehouse\" files
I've downloaded several designs from the furniture side of eCabinets, and also developed quite a few assemblies and jobs of my own.
I'm now experiencing extremely sluggish system performance, and am wondering what the best way to deal with this is?
Any advice will be greatfully appreciated.

Re:
Mark You have to use "Create Part Using Closed Contour" instead of "Cut/Pocket" from the right-click menu. Make sure you have the outline completely closed with your desired part on the inside of the outlines. If I may expound on this... First , when you go into the Part Editor ...

That was an error on my behalf. In fact, unless the install wizard prompted the upgrade upon the original initial install, I was running on the basic version all along. MANY MANY thanks to Bill Rutherford, Northwoods Manufacturing, for walking me through this on the phone tonight. It really is ALL o...

In need of help
In light of my corrupt file/missing files/error message problems, Dan at Thermwood assisted me today. First, we performed a \"repair\" off the install CD, then after that failed to remedy, I uninstalled, shut down and then installed from scratch. I still have the same issues going on PLUS,...

I did manage to install the microwave, but in presentation, as you can see, it doesn't look right. Just after adding this JPG, I added a couple light fixtures. -that was the straw that broke the camels back... grey screen, nothing... end of the line. What's causing this? I'm at 2g RAM and 400g stora...
