Slide Mount Hole Pattern

Raymond,

I think the hardware hole editor only works in 1 plane. You're looking at the side of the cabinet, I dont know how you could access the back of the cabinet thro it.

Closet Frustrations

Bob, Maybe I misunderstand, but you can change the material in slab ends etc. Select change sheet goods, expand the tree & pick what part(s) you want to change. For a global door/drawer change, select all cabinets, adjust cabinet features & change doors/drawer fronts. Does this not do what y...

Todd, Ryan,

running current CN, PM & Ecabs. The contour was created in Ecabs. This tool modelled perfectly on square panels, and will create a tool path for the centre panel which has the same arch top & bottom.

Thanks

Z axis motion on pockets

I have a problem with the machine not making the correct Z-axis movement to cut pockets. It moves in X & Y, but Z is daylight distance above the workpiece. It started in the middle of a job, and just applies to pockets. Outline cut motions are as they should be. Any help would be appreciated. Sean

I'm getting error 3460 when trying to run dovetails. Invalid arc. Anyone know what this is likely to be?

Michael,

done this in V. 2 without problems. Take the square to contour mode, draw 2 circles, return. Select inner & cut/pocket. outer & create part. Just tried it in V. 3 & it works fine.

Thanks, Scott.

That has been a difficult one to explain to sightseers.

BTW, using metric in the countertop editor, when I select has overhang the software always multiplies out by 25.4. I set 30mm, do the top, go back to do another one & the default overhang is 762mm.
But great software.

Leo,

I usually cut a couple of rectangles from the part, then use the fillet function.
