Member store
I was looking for a rental carving to add to a upcoming project and wanted to see if there were anything new, but the Member store is closed for good. How will this effect the rental carving, furniture network and design sharing portion of the program?
Thanks, Joe

Re: MDF DOORS
Damon, I haven't tried to cut any this way since CN had the profile modeler integrated into it, I'm getting the same problem now. I even tried to offset the tool outward thinking it may be working backward, no luck.

Re: MDF DOORS
Damon, For mine I used Whiteside 5720 for the interior cut set at 2.8 on the layout tab and Whiteside 5610 offset 2.5 inward when I selected the tool. It looks as if yours may be offset outward. Joe

Re: corner cabinet stretcher issue
Mark, There is a Control Nesting Update for the first part of your problem, Changes/Additions for v5.37 (1/29/08) Implemented parameter for performing Double Pass on outline pass of ‘skinny’ parts. A value for maximum width/length can be entered to determine if a part is ‘skinny’. Double Pass area v...

Re: MDF DOORS
Damon, I have tried that, just offset the outer tool in to get the bead profile you want. The only problem I ran into was the arch doors since the outer tool only follows the outline.

Re: restore profile modeler
Will, If a reboot doesn't work, I would try to reinstall the profile modeler patch. http://downloads.thermwood.com/pmv211patch2.exe

Dale, I use Bob-cad like Zach but this may work for you, just save your text as a .dxf and open with e-cabs or your favorite cad program.

Nice design Kerry, I have been building most of them 34 1/2" for a few years now but still build a few 31 1/2" for the kids. Joe

Re: Artcam and Thermwood linking
Kerry, as it is now, with a mdf door you only have the option to use two tools, inner and outer, or model the door out. The style door I use takes three cuts just for the inner and one for the outside profile. To cut and average job of about 40 doors (5=4x8 sheets) using a cad program takes about an...

Re: Doors and drawers
Hi Kerry, We do have plans for making the door/drawer designer more versatile. The question is this, how important is a new door/drawer interface compared to a new line drawing interface, easily attach mouldings in the room layout, along with the many other requests given? Maybe a poll needs to be t...
