I updated the eCabs yesterday to build 3, and if i try to make any change to the allready exicting cabinets, eCabs shuts down and Microsoft showes a error message.

I tried to zip file it and then send it via e-mail, but i gues that it's not working.

I came up with conclusion that if you try to change thicknes of material in eCabs, and there it a pocket done in Part Editor, the CNC still cuts the pocket at original thicknes, but it goes from the top of the new thicknes. This means that if the material is .5 inches thick, and you change it to .25...

I am using bit that was suplied by Thermwood and it is set to .375.
Parts are not moving because the dowetail bit cuts before the skin is remuved.

i had the same problem
try to update the eCabs v5 to build 2 before you try to run the program

it says on the website that if eCabs is more than 9 months old (with no update) it will not run!!!

i am runing v5.26

when i nest dovetail drowers with rest of the cabinet, or multiple drowers, dowetail tool cuts into the part thats next to it

1. Check online with the manufacteror. You have to know the model number of the chipset and then pull the specs.

2. First, VISTA is made for two GPUs, second, you want to do as many updates as possible at the same time because of the time it takes.

i don't know if you tried working on 64-bit vista, its very quick

if u have a newer system it is posible to have 2 grafic cards conected in a serial mode on a new chipset
this is very nice
now u can get 2 smaller grafic card for a lot chiper the a big one, and have a lot better performance

When is eCab software be competible with vista, cause the new software and especialy hardware that u can put on operating system is simply awsem?
Now i have a computer with both XP and vista, and XP is just for eCab.

We ran some, but we just did the panels, stiles and rails we ran on shaper!
