Sure would be nice to have the ability to save part edited doors to a library so they can be changed out at a global level. I've only been asking for at least 10 years and seeing how quite a few others on here do that kind of door I would think it would be a higher priority.

Re: Make a MDF door with a flat "raise"
Stuart, I did figure out that my profile tool couldn't touch the bottom of the pocket. After that its a piece of cake.

Re: Pocket ramp in
I get this occasionally if the part is rotated. Not sure what the solution is though.

Re: Edgebanding not displaying
Thanks Clint, I used that method earlier and it worked fine on my end just wanted to make sure you guys were aware of what it was doing when using the add doors feature. When you take the front into CE the edgeband displays properly so you would think it would print on the label.

Edgebanding not displaying
I added slab fronts with edgebanding to a batch file but when nested the labels do not show the edgeband. Is this a glitch?

Custom Layout
When laying out walls and imputing dimensions the layout used to automatically center on the screen as you hit enter. Mine hasn't done that for some time now. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Profile modeler
For that particular profile I'd like it to use the 1/4" BN for the main cutting with the 1/8" BN getting closer in the corners and the 1/8" end mill to clean out the step downs. Is that not possible? If I set the 1/4" BN to leave stock will it not do the entire profile again with...

Re: Profile modeler
Here is another door with the same profile that I was able to get it to apply on a flat recess panel by not letting the profile touch the bottom of the pocket. I'm still getting the same error when trying to nest it though. It will however work as a single door in PM with the same setup. Maybe it ha...

Re: Profile modeler
Clint, I'm having a problem with these doors. It gives me a "Calculate Tool Path Error". I'm using a 1/4" BN and 1/8" BN. Can you take a look please?

Re: Profile modeler
That is basically what I'm trying to do but for whatever reason I'm getting an error. Maybe it has to do with the profile touching the bottom of the pocket. I'll try it a few different ways to see if I can get it to work.
Thanks, Forrest

Re: Profile modeler
I have other programs I can make the door shown (example only) with dedicated profile tooling. However if I need to do a custom profile I have to profile model it. In this case I'm just going to model it in Solidworks but when I have a bunch of different sizes that sucks. I profile modeled some door...

Has anyone figured out a way to profile model the inside edge of a door with a flat recessed panel?
