Re: SB Link Tenon Dado Cut Direction
It appears that the correct solution would be the ability to set a direction for dados/pockets. Then you can specify your maximum depth if you wish to complete the cutting in more than 1 pass to reduce load. This will allow you to keep the ability to run your outlines in the climb then conventional ...

Re: Cabinet back full dado with scribe
To get it to show graphically in eCabinets Kerry's suggestion is the way to go, however, this will created an 1/8" wide pocket at the machine which means an additional operation. If you would like it do be done in 1 operation per dado then Brian's suggestion is the way to go. By using Fit Clear...

That is a feature not used in ShopBot Link. We need to remove it. Please ignore.

Re: claen up setting for dadoes-Shopbot
The clean up pass will only be used in dado's when the tool is too small to perform the dado in 2 passes. This will invoke the pocketing routine where the clean up pass exists. To loosen your dado size you should adjust your dado width clearance setting in eCabinets Systems - Cabinet Editor - Constr...

Re: Will ecab v6 support multi core processor
Version 6 will support these operating systems. Some of the 3rd party applications in eCabinet Systems provided some improvements for multiple core processors, but the avantages have not been proven to be significant. The areas affected are Presentation View and Cabinet Regeneration. While Version 6...

Hi Gary. Yes, eCabinet Systems is in the development phase for version 6. This version will include the ability to edit drawer box parts in the Part Editor. We plan to be in the beta testing phase for this version very soon.

Hi Don. The 2 features work independently. You can have both tabs and leave a skin at the same time.

Re: ShopBot Link nesting effectiveness
You are right Don. That is interesting. I have loaded your settings and I get the nest you displayed originally in this post by clicking the button Y. From what you are saying you get it by clicking the button X. I do not have an answer for that at all. With the Cut Line option in the next version I...

Re: ShopBot Link nesting effectiveness
Neville, Ok, I think I am grasping what you want. There is access to the OffFalls for this purpose. In Add Sheet(s) click the OffFalls button. This brings up a list of all the Off-Fall generated on that machine. This list currently contains ID, Date of creation, and Material Name. If we worked on ad...

Re: ShopBot Link nesting effectiveness
Hi Neville. Yes, manual manipulation of the nest in Control Nesting is something we wish to provide in a future version. Time for development of this feature is unknown. The material name or "timber species or colour" is printed on the label for the OffFall. I'm not sure why you are worrie...

Re: 'Ramped' Pockets?
Something that should be mentioned here Nat. Dans, method here would result in Profile Modeler operations. The ShopBot Link does not support Profile Modeler. There is not a way to create ramped pockets that will cut with the ShopBot Link.
