Closing the loop: Justin was very helpful and we got it fixed very quickly and easily. I had to delete the update from my disk, go to website and download the update saving to a folder,(never download the update from an email he said), run it from a folder and when it asks if I want to remove it, sa...

This is the first time I have ever had a problem. I can't figure it . I do save to a download file then run it from there. It keeps asking if I want to remove 5.1.4 and I say yes based on previous threads and I go right back to where I was before. I am waiting on Thermwood to help me out here. If th...

need help

went to load build 4 finally after I thought it was safe and we had a break in the action. It won't go. Get a \"updating display\" message in cabinet editor and when I check what version I am running, it says build 2 still. Download seems to work but not when I go to use it. I am using XP,...

To the computer Gurus... Off subject a little

Anybody have experience with a file called Wild Tangent causing problems with programs using security hasps? I ran across this explanation and they told me to evaluate if Wild Tangent has anything I need in it and if not, delete the whole thing. I've read lots on the Internet about its troublemaking...

Jame, we too would be happy to look at what you have. We custom cut all the time for people and shipping is not a problem for us. We ship freight all over the country.

If there were a rock big enough, I'd crawl under it right now! Problem resolved. My operator used a resharpened tool and it was smaller than the diameter in the program. So outline is off and that's what was leaving a fin. It is usually something stupid we did! I just couldn't find it this ti...

New problem to us

I have looked everywhere I can think of and now I am wondering if it is an upgrade problem....? We loaded 5.1 Bld 2 the other day from 5.0 Bld 15. I've been leery about jumping on new releases too quickly for fear of messing up existing jobs. Today when we ran a new job we just made, the blind dados...

Mitch, You can buy cherry from mills that remove the heartwood as a defect in the board so you are only buying usable material. Another option is to buy cherry sorted for color, which most mills that cut large amounts of cherry sort for. You might pay a little more than you are now paying for the lu...

All, thanks for the help. I think it is zipping file that is the key. With new email and spam and virus protections, these files probabaly exceed the limits and get filtered or corrupted in transit. We've done this many times in the past without a problem. I also believe it relates to the sender's e...

Best way to email files

What is the best way to email files? We are trying to transfer an hsf file and it won't go. Doe sit have to be saved as a job before emailing? If not, how do I get it to open? I copy and paste to eCabs cabinet directory and it is not there when I open the load cabinet area. Is there a problem if ver...

YIKES, Mike. It must be an Indiana thing because I am even closer to Thermwood than you and I don't have one either! Maybe Pony Express didn't get to Indiana yet????

Thermwood, send me one too please as it seems I have also been overlooked.
