Thanks Dale. I, as well as the customer, was really pleased with how this turned out. I have always been hesitant to suggest alder because of how soft it is, but the more we do, the more I like it. I can't wait for the granite to be installed and the contractor to finish so I can get some final pict...

Thanks for the tips guys. I haven't had a lot of time to play with this yet. Michael, I wondered if Thermwood could make it possible to select a door with no frame. Now you can select a door as frame only, this would just be opposite. Then you could have all the panel options on bar backs and end pa...

Bar Backs and End Panels

Has anyone else done this? I used just the face frame of a cabinet then added keystone drawer fronts from Conestoga with a 9/16 inset and a -3/16 gap to make a paneled bar back. After looking, I think a number 10 drawer front would look more like a raised panel. These are resizable to fit any cabine...

Rustic Alder Entertainment Center

Here are some pictures of an entertainment center we made out of rustic alder. I'll add more pictures after the granite is installed on the outer cabinets and the trim is installed.

When you select your upper cabinet, a change size button should appear at the bottom of the dialogue box. Click this and you can change the height, depth, width or the mounting height of upper cabinets. Hope this helps.

When you control, click, and draw your box to zoom, is there a fast way to return to the whole view in the detail room? I always click done, return to the main custom layout area and click reset view, then return to the detail room to continue. Just wondering if there is a faster way.

You can also use the show/hide feature to hide the countertops and other items. I use this a lot when I have to rework cabinets after I have put the counters on.

Clint, Welcome to the forum. I'll see if I can help you on this. Double click on your display cube to highlight it. Then move your cursor overtop of the wall that your cabinet is on and right click when the wall is yellow. In the dialogue box, click associate to wall. Then right click on the wall ag...

Thanks George.

I like to put a false back with an access door to the plug in behind the desk. Keeps your feet from getting tangled in wires.

Latest Kitchen

Now that I have DSL at the shop, I thought I would start posting some photos of some jobs that we have done. This is the latest kitchen we have done. They are going to tile the backsplash and install the appliances shortly. When they do, I'll post a couple more pictures.

Al, I guess you just can't take a tech's word as gospel. I finally had time today to mess with this some more and I did get the dual monitor feature to work. I guess I shouldn't be so afraid to just click on things and see what they do. Thanks to everyone for the help and input. Next time I have a c...

Al, I'm not too sure on this. I know I messed with all the settings trying to run spreadsheets on the 2nd monitor and ecabinets on the laptop monitor and couldn't get it to work. Whatever was on the laptop monitor was on the 2nd one also. I called Dell, and the tech told me the M90 would not run a s...

Glenn, I got my M90 several months ago new with a \"free\" 2nd monitor. When I contacted Dell to find out how to run seperate programs on each monitor, they told me this wasn't possible with the M90. The 512mb nvidia 2500 would do this, but the M90 wouldn't. They said I could only clone on...
