Something I noticed

I have been fooling around with the CPU affinity between eCabs using both processors and just one. I have noticed if you set eCabs to use just one processor it seems to operate a little better and a little faster. Don't expect any miracles. I am talking about small percentages. But when you are deal...

Just applied the build 5 update, so far no bad interactions. I am very curious what build 6 is going to be like. Are they going to be using something better than C to do the programming. Maybe C++? Curious minds want to know.

Didn't Know This

I was under the impression that the walls were not changeable after you had placed cabinets in the room. I did a kitchen rendering and only did it in a simple square room. After I got to the site I received some blue prints of the room that would exist in a month or so. There are spacing issues that...

I get these problems all the time on straight walls. It will either not move or move to some random number. Say you type in 65\", it might go to 36.656\". No matter what you type it always seems to go to this dimension. I have given up on it and now use the move function to get to where I ...

the 512MB RAM may be a problem. Isn't that the minimum it needs to run. If resources are scarce you may be short on memory.

Side by side drawer problem

I have a cabinet that has 8 sets of drawers in the center of it. 4 high by 2 wide. They are separated by a partition. I am able to add the 8 drawers using the drawer editor, but when it comes to adding the drawer fronts I can't get it done. I've added a 3/32\" face frame member between them and...

Have you checked the spam folder in your email area? I could have gone there instead of to your normal email area.

I have had the problem you're talking about but mine seems to manifest itself in a different way and it seems to be more random and not reproducible. When I resize a cabinet the doors don't always resize properly and stay the same size. Actually one door seems to do OK but the second one seems to no...

Re:

I seem to recall you did have some problems with the toe kick inverting sometimes. I have yet to see that one on my system. Al I believe that was my problem. I have since rebuilt all of my seed cabinets in version V5.1.3. Now that I am using V5.1.4 things seemed to have improved. I tried to get the...

... Like when you bring a cabinet from the design area to the cabinet editor... NOW I am confused, Leo. What is the "design editor" , as opposed to the Cabinet / Assembly Editor??? Do you mean the Custom Layout area? PLEASE tell me there is not something in the program that I did not know...

So far a bunch of things seem to work quicker. Like when you bring a cabinet from the design area to the cabinet editor, do your changes, and go back. It used to take a while for it to go back and now it seems quicker. I was wondering if there were any tricks on making the drawers work quicker. I us...

I have no problems saving the files. I just have problems with editing my cabinets. I get cabinet parts that flip over (decorative toe kick).

Yup, worked 9-5, what a concept, an 8 hour day. Started a new kitchen and wanted to get going on it. It was a cloudy day that ended up in rain so it wasn't worth taking the time off anyway. Normal day is 10-12 hrs.
