Alex,
Can you email the CNC code and a zip2go from Mastercam to program@thermwood.com? We can have a few more eyes take a look at it then and see what is going on.

Re: Profile modeler
Dan, If you have that profile in a CAD software, you are part of the way there. For eCabinets you'll need that profile to create a tool that will be "pushed" through the part in Part Editor. You can export the profile as a DXF and load it into Shape Manager to create the tool. The accuracy...

Re: What methods do you use to hold down small parts?
Our favorite method is to use additional part clearance, and leave a skin before final outline, although I plead guilty to adhesive and nails as well. But hands? Really?? Not sure I have the guts to hold down a small part by hand with a router bit spinning at 20000RPM within a few inches of my hand...

Re: Vacuum Pods
Dave, I'm not entirely sure what you mean in your last post. You'll find your fixture offset to where you plan to program from for X and Y. Then you will follow what the manual says to set the height of the pods in Machine Variables. Once you have those set, your program must contain the AFL stateme...

Re: Vacuum Pods
You should not need any additional software to run pods on the machine. For the X and Y location of your parts or pods, you'll need to set a fixture offset for them. At the machine, you can go to the help manual, and the search for SWITCH2FIX1. There should be a section in there for Acquiring SWITCH...

Re: Missing Button
An unfortunate side effect sometimes when bugs are fixed, a new bug is made. We are aware and hopefully will have a fix for next release. In the mean time you can either create the directory in Windows, or before clicking the browse button you can type in the field above the cabinet name and the dir...

Re: Two layout projects in one CNC file
Don,
Open eCabinets, but do not load a job or cabinet. From the main opened screen of eCabinets click the CNC button. Choose your jobs, change material properties if needed, filter parts out if needed, and pick the output location for the .twd file.

Re: Windows 10 Pro Display Issues
Also worth trying, and seems to have fixed the issue on our test laptop with a 4K monitor, make sure eCabinets is closed. Right click on the ecabinets.exe located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems and choose Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab at the top. At the bottom choose ...

Re: Feature Change Request
Don, I'll pass your request along to the software engineers. You may look into writing a script, or possibly finding someone who can create one for you. The script should be able to accomplish what you are wanting to do, as well as may be able to do the additional work you already do. The script cou...

Re: Tablets and eCabinets
Tim,
Depends on the tablet and what you want to do on the tablet. ECabinets is very graphically intensive and there may be limitations. Also keep in mind, eCabinets is Windows based, not Android or Apple. You may be able to get around that, but it will still cause some headaches.

Re: Resizing cabinet bug!
Ian,
Can you get me a list of exact steps you are taking, or a video of you doing it? ? Does it do it with just your cabinets or will it do it with the Standard library of cabinets also?

Re: Invalid file
Ok so I am having an issue with taking my Batch list that I've put on a flash drive in .twd format (CNC file format) for thermwood routers, when I take it the router, the computer see's the drive, see's the file, but when I try to access from the control program cannot find the file. I noticed that...
