Re: Cabinet changes/deleted after CNC

Just had a customer call about drawerbox sides being cut short. eCabinets has the drawer sides at 21" long. The cut list shows them at 21". I changed material thickness when creating the twd. The parts where cut at 18".

Hope this helps.

Re: Order of Drilling Stacked Holes

No experience with SB link. On my machine I would use a 10mm brad point to drill through. Use the 3/8 to pocket the 20mm hole. In CN there's a setting to "do drilling operations first", or something like that. Has worked well for me.

Good luck.

Re: Nesting issues

Don,

I've been trying to reproduce the issue you're having with grain. So far, eCabinets is nesting correctly. It may be easier to create a new drawerbox.

Re: Constraint Manager - help needed

No problem, Donald.

Click on the "Edit" button in Constraint Manager then "Edit Constraint". Click on the constraint you want to edit. In the textbox to the right of the blue text enter the formula h/2.

Re: User Data not found

Does the path, C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems actually exist on your computer? Are there any files in the eCabinets Systems folder?

Re: lost dimensions

Just tried LDE this morning. Same problem. Thought it might be a Windows update problem so I downloaded the latest video drive from Nvidia. Same problem. Drawings that I did several weeks ago and new drawings don't display the numbers. Extension lines and arrows are OK. The dimension lines are set w...

Re: control upgrade

Thanks to all for the input and especially to Thermwood folks for working hard to fix the install problem.

It looks like I'll be using the desktop version of CN. Seems to make the most sense right now.

Re: control upgrade

Forrest,
Have you had any problems installing the last two CN updates? Version 5.93 will not install on my machine.

Re: control upgrade

Thanks for the reply, Forrest. I've thought about that option as well. I'm assuming you get the same version as what is running on the router. I'm having trouble installing the latest version of CN on the router. The installer doesn't run, at all. Thermwood has been trying to resolve this but so far...

control upgrade

My CS45 is eight years old. While it cuts parts just fine, the computer is sometimes quite slow performing nests. I'm thinking about upgrading it to the QCore SuperControl. I would like to hear from anyone who has done this. Did the upgrade go smoothly? Where any problems encountered? Was it an easy...
