Can someone plaese try to get this job to operate properly in ecabs
I have posted about this issue before with no response from anyone. I have issues with ecabs anytime the project gets large. Whenever I have large jobs to draw up in LDE and I try to save the job I get an "Ecabs has stopped working " prompt and the program closes and I lose all my work. I ...

Re: Sink Drawer Cabinet Construction Suggestions (part 1)
Glad it all worked out for you. I don't have a solution for the back other than instaed of using a drawer from the DBX editor you could turn a cabinet into a drawer and install that in the vanity creating an assembly. I don't personally like assemblies in ecabs if they are part of a multi cabinet pr...

Re: Sink Drawer Cabinet Construction Suggestions (part 1)
Oh by the way don't forget to make those drawer boxes shallow enough to clear water lines that protrude into cabinet. I've never made that mistake

Re: Sink Drawer Cabinet Construction Suggestions (part 1)
Darren install a shelf first at the desired height for the first drawer then install your partition below that. You can make the shelf a phantom part or just give it a back inset so that it is narrow enough to clear the sink. This will also help hold the partition at it's front edge at the proper lo...

Looking for an edgebanding setting
I'm trying to stop the automatic application of edge banding to parts like stretchers. I pretty sure there is a setting somewhere.

Seems like this issue was never addressed in the recent build.

Re: E cabinets has stopped working
Forrest Thanks but this is crashing on any large job (40LF+ of cabinetry) every time I try to save. Wether I try and save in LDE or CL. Am I the only one having this issue?

Re: Inset 6 cannot be to the left of parent part...Really
Clint here is a library cabinet where the #5 and #6 insets for the end panel spacers were set to zero. I would use this same practice for a left side wall filler on a euro box. The #6 inset would be associated to the left end/left and set to zero so no matter the width of the filler it would always ...

Inset 6 cannot be to the left of parent part...Really
I assume this was done on purpose in the new build. Why was this changed. That was a big advantage to set stretcher insets to zero. Now you have to give a stretcher a negative value and when you chage material thickness all those insets have to be reset. What about the weeks and months that went int...

E cabinets has stopped working
All is well untill the job gets large. This problem always rears its ugly head once we have a signifcant amount of drawings in LDE. I side stepped the problem by breaking a large job down to three or four smaller jobs. IE take the same custom room layout with 30 cabs or so and one job will be base c...

Re: Working with End Panels
Don, when in main cabinet editor window, in the right side menu, you will see "display door" box. Open that up, choose a door style and size and create the door. Highlight it and you can rotate it and move it around as with any display part. Don't forget to associate it to the cabinet. You...

I just started playing around with the inset carvings option in cabinet editor and notice there are a dozen or so pre-installed carvings. Re: Maybe an option in CE?
Don, I think you are interpreting those options incorrectly. It is benificial in room editor to specifify left/right/both so as to not change the positioning of the cabinet in relation to other cabinets or walls (ie. grow/shrink the cabinet in the desired direction) Your constraints should work whet...
