Re: Aspire export/import

Thanks Guys. All valuable advice! Yes, OK, I didn't realise that you could load a file directly without using control nesting. I may get back to this job in a day or so and hopefully I can get it to work. Slowly getting the hang of it, but at the moment it feels like we are steering a Ferrari with h...

Aspire export/import

Hi Guys We are just starting to use Aspire software. Aspire has an export menu and we tried / selected the CS 45 NC from the drop down menu This exports a NC file Our machine is a CS 43 so I'm thinking its similar? But the main question is how do we import this NC file into control nesting? Post-pro...

Re: Drill Hole Issues

An update here is that the problem has been identified, But as clint says in the quote below they need the steps to reproduce it. We haven't worked it out either, but are saving more after changes to the cabinets file rather than changing without saving. If anyone else has any insights it could help...

Re: Drill Hole Issues

Thanks Clint. Okay. we will keep that in mind and try changing the tool order. Out of curiosity I have to ask the dumb question. Why doesn't it look for the best tool? Having said that, Why then wouldn't it be best to load the drills into the group settings first? If you or others know to save us gu...

Re: Nest Diagram Inefficiency

Hi Jim We have been using the nesting for a number of years to cut on a panel / slider? saw. On a 20 to 30 sheet job it has more pieces to choose from, and seems to nest much tighter until the last 2 or 3 sheets. In my estimation you might save 1 and a 1/2 sheets on some jobs and others it is tight ...

Re: Issues with corner wall cabinet doors

Hi Clint
We meant to leave the bit about door gaps and door sizes out of the post.
I think that might be a sequence / reveal applied to the wrong side, user issue by us.
Thanks for looking into the graining thing.

Thanking you
Mark

Issues with corner wall cabinet doors

We were adding doors to a wall corner cabinet and came across a grain issue. We were trying to add a double door to the left side of a 3 door wall corner cabinet. We needed the doors to have horizontal grain, but no matter the angle we put in the door dialogue box, the grain kept coming out vertical...

Re: Partition/Shelf Openings

I think I had this happen as well on some cabinets when testing the beta.
I mixed it up with some other questions and wasn't really sure what as happening anyway.
But here is a link to the topic in the beta if it is of any use

Hi Jeremy.
Sounds like your $60K was a good investment.
I wonder how much the 2017 version is? :)

Re: Vol2 Number 3

Hi Neville Good to hear from you. :) It probably costs quite a bit to put it together, Time for photography, chasing stories, editorial, formatting into a document, all overheads that probably doesn't sell a lot of machines and hard work to make the publication look good. And during lean times an ea...

Vol2 Number 3

Cleaning up, a blast from the past and yet it was only 9ish years ago. Saying goodby to 2016 and Wishing all my fellow eCabineters and the guys at TW a happy, prosperous new year. May we all make lots of dust and even more importantly the money that comes from it. :) I wonder what would be in Vol11 ...

Hi Jack.
Just a thought.
I wonder if you have wingdings set under the chosen font?
Have a look under the big black A in the font settings at the top and select something different, see if that helps.

Re: Sharknose doors

Hi David
Thanks for the feedback.
Sorry, I have been busy.
So, It sounds like you would set up the job and do it on the router?
Rather than do them by hand?
