Re: issue with intime kernel

Thomas, On this lower level side relating to the INTime Kernel , I am not an expert but... I believe that as this application deals with creating low-level hooks between the THM application and the I/O of the machine components, I understand that it is important that it gets loaded EARLY in the star...

Re: Thermwoods run on Windows why not Linux

If I am not mistaken - The discontinuation of Windows Support on a particular Windows OS version does not mean that that operating system version no longer functions. The discontinuation of support just means that security patches are no longer developed and distributed. Based on the basic requireme...

Re: Manual tool change

The other issues that could arise with adding a Side-Load to your tool changer are: Dust Hood Size - Since "Side-Loading" requires a lateral move to during the tool load/unload, the dust hood needs to be large enough to accomodate the move while it is down over the bracket. Spacing between...

Re: Offfall setting in CN

Okay. Then it may be that the switch back to NONE is not triggering an automatic re-nest. I am sure that this should be an easy one for the Control Nesting team.

* Just wonder why you would be flipping back and forth between the setting though. (Not that you should not be able to.)

Re: Offfall setting in CN

Are you Nesting/Optimizing and THEN changing the settings. If so, perhaps try re-nesting. (??)

Re: In Need of Tall Frameless Cabinet

Nat,

If I am not mistaken, most users will simply take a Frameless Base cabinet and increase its height to the required "Tall Cabinet" size. They will then save it to their library with the appropriate name.

Re: Y axis Out of bounds

Were there any triangular shaped parts in the batch? When using cutter compensation, the machine offsets and then extends the edges to where they will meet. With acute angled cornered parts (as found in triangular parts), the point of intersection could extend right out of the machines working envel...

Re: Profile Modeler crashes THM when viewing parts

Funny how that works... Many, many years ago - before eCabinet Systems - we work with "another" cabinet design software. A client had an issue with optimizing, wherein the software would crash. In that case too, a graphics card driver update solved the issue. Don't know what-the-hey the pr...

Re: How do I stop being thick?

Neville asked: "How do I stop being thick?"

Well it depends on what you mean by "thick".

Either:
  • Interpretation #1: You go on a diet.
  • Interpretation #2: You read more and perhaps go back to school.

Tom, What are you using to create and then generate code for your parts/nests? I seem to recall you are using Microvellum . Is this still the case? Contact us here at CNC Automation , and we can help look into it with you. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------...

This is why we supply our Thermwood/Vectric client's here in Canada with a post processor for their specific machine. They end up cutting correctly right off the bat.
