Shop Drawings Definition
Ok, showing my lack of intelligence here... I see a number of people asking for shop drawings out of eCabs. Can someone point me to a specific definition of a shop drawing (what all must be included in the case of a kitchen)... and who drawing is intended for and who is using them. Been using eCabs ...

Re: LDE Print size
Guys here is a thought... It looks like with the new version of eCabs the printer output is changed to a vector format. I just did an experiment and the printers resolution setting is directly tied to the spooler file size. My guess is the spooler is just barfing at some point as it grows in size. I...

Re: Drawer Front Slide Mount
Ben, Thanks for the quick reply. I did an experiment and I'm not seeing the hole patterns on drawer front, face frame or back of the box. Just not sure how this works and not finding any documentation. If this really does put hole pattern on back of drawer face, it would be a real time saver. Thanks...

Drawer Front Slide Mount
Adding a drawer and drawer box V6. Can someone help me understand the Drawer Front Slide Mount and in particular how the hole pattern works. I'm trying to add the Hafele Metal Box with the Front Fixing Bracket but can't seem to understand how that Slide Mount hole pattern works.
Thanks,
Fred

Re: overhead vacuum
Ben, I've been looking into this same thing. We have a very high ceiling and I was going to suspend the vac hose from ceiling with a pulley, cable and counter balance that would hang and the guy could pull down from the ceiling. As with many projects... its is still on to do list so I'm sorry I can'...

Paint Question
I'm doing some kids room accessories (MDF) carved up on the THM and then spray solid colors. We spray the ML Campbell Polystar and the SW Sherwood. The pastels, whites come out great. Looking for help with the Red and Blue. Typically we prime with SW Milwork Primer. The problem is the Primary Red an...

Re: A New Approach to Custom Cabinets
Neville, We don't flat pack entire kitchens but more individual cabinets... The guy at the machine forwards the nest printout with parts, along with the "Buy List" (for hardware) that I sent out attached to work order, and he cuts a box(es) out of 4'x8' cardboard. All this goes on the part...

Re: Thermwood at the AWFS Show in Las Vegas
Jason,
Is there anywhere I could get more information on this. I do some sign work for a couple different shops in town and I am curious how this might work with something like that new Andi co-jet or just laminated art onto a sheet of material.
Thanks,
Fred

Re: KD/ RTA Fitting Question
John, I wanted to re-visit this topic. I just did a cabinet with the KD hardware on the kick, but instead offset the side top cam. I gave it a -1" offset up and used the bottom cam as my only cam. The machine drilled the dowel hole for the -1" offset cam in the side panel. It makes sense, ...
