Re: Material image for "B" side
FEATURE REQUEST Is it possible to have single sided material "B" sides designated with an image? The single sided material looks identical to double sided material when shown in eCabS. Think about an open base cabinet; The inside of this cabinet presents as a finished face, and an adjusta...

Re: Graphic issues
Most likely need to update graphics driver from the manufacturer's site, not through Windows. You can do a quick check by checking the boxes for Force Software Rendering and Use Graphics Double buffering in Settings/Preferences. If it looks good after a restart, its most likely the graphics driver. ...

Re: Smooth C Axis Motion
Alex,
You can talk with your reseller to see about something in the post, but likely it isn't something that can be corrected with a flip of the switch. Mastercam doesn't output any transition C motions to posting when the tool is vertical.

Thomas,
I've sent you an email outlining some things and a file that should correct the issue. Mark and I have been struggling with this one, he is getting a lot of inconsistencies making it difficult to diagonse.

Re: Making GLASS panel slab doors
Interesting to note: The part editor and constraint manager buttons don't always show up in the door/drawer-front designer pop-up window! They are conspicuously missing in the pop-up when any screen other than a blank "Cabinet/Assembly Editor" screen is displayed. That may have led my ini...

Kerry,
I see the same thing and reported it to the software engineers. I get this feeling I'm going to be told its been like that forever and then be asked the general question of how has no one ever done that.

Re: Cutting Rubber mats
Reciprocating knife would be what you would need, not something that can be equipped on your machine though. Video here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYFpgsoOyr8, 3:08 is when we cut rubber with it. You could maybe get away with a burr bit to essentially grind the material away, but not sure how ...

Re: Dowels in eCab - labels
You can change the user part name to something with exclamation points to make it easier for those labeling to see they need to go to the dowel machine. In the past we have made a custom label for a customer that when they added a # character followed by text, the text was converted to a barcode to ...

Re: software keeps crashing on save after adding RAM
In Edit-> Settings/Preferences, make sure the box for Disable Crash Reporting is unchecked. That will hopefully get it to where the software will crash and get to the crash reporter so we can gather more information. For curiosity sake, with Task Manager open when you save your file, how much memory...

Re: Unnecessary gaps where interruption of locked dado starts
Is it a flip operation part or all done from one side? My initial thought is either outline tool diameter is off (entered in as .375" when its actually a resharpened bit a .340"), or there isn't enough depth clearance. Potentially also the diameter of the tool cutting the tenons.

Re: How do you change the waste board thickness without flycutting?
If you want to get really in to it with AFL you can write a program to run that will log the date, time, and previous waste board value to a text value, update Machine Variables to the new value, and tie it all to a Custom Action button on the side of the screen. Then you can keep track of value ch...
