Re: Efficient way to assemble cabinets (hiPurformer glue)

Re: Need Help Creating tool

When creating DXF files in a different software, make sure your drawing depth is at zero. For example: a dxf file that is drawn 1" above/below the origin will cause various problems.

Re: Assembly Marks

Cool, thanks Walker. That will help. I personally like this idea because I normally get mad at my assembler when the parts get flipped over. We ran into the same thing. Nothing worse than gluing a cabinet together, only to find out a shelf or partition was flipped the wrong way. This is how the ass...

Resizes pictures, creates thumbnails, etc. I use it all the time. Once installed, you just right click image and choose re-size. http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ There is also something under Windows PowerToys that does the same thing. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoy...

Re: Dados and Tenons tight!

Your daylight value could be wrong, making the tennon too thick or too thin. Check your wasteboard value too.

Double check your diameter set for the tool cutting the dado. As mentioned earlier, tool wear would cause the dado width to become too small.

Re: Nesting a large job

I recommend doing multiple batches as well. Not only will it help out with the nesting speed, you won't have tons of labels/nests to print all at once. Writing the CNC will speed up also.
