Re: Can't get rid of hardware

Ryan I had a similar problem I have associated a shelf support to a cabinet (or the shelf I can't remember) How the heck can I delete it? I can understand the hinge issue of Donald's, but how do I delete a random piece of hardware especially if I can't remember how or to which part I added it. The G...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

Yep, That's correct. I couldn't imagine anyone using Metal Sided Drawer systems outsourcing their drawer boxes. You are correct, these generally simply consist of a base and a back. Having said that, Hettich do offer a prefabricated drawer. I personally can't imagine anyone ordering one, but still, ...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

Rick No, It must be reference from the inside of the carcase, not the drawer box carcase as you have suggested. It must be referenced from the inside of the parent cabinet's end (where the carcase part of the drawer slide attaches). Even if the drawer boxes are outsourced, the end of the cabinet wil...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

Kerry / Nat Just for the record, the Hettich MutiTech uses different front fixing bracket hole spacing for the 54mm, than what it does for the 86,118 & 150mm. In many brands such as; a) Hettich Multitech b) Blum Metabox c) Hafele Innobox d) Hafele Optibox the location of the drawer front fixing ...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT THING NOT PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED IN THIS POST =============================================================== Changing Door Styles I think one of the sad things here is that when you are using metal sided drawers, you are unable to utilise the "Change Door / Drawer Style"...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

That is a simple, no brainer for us metal drawer users. Lets say we take my preferred drawer system, Hettich. It comes in a variety called Innotech (expensive) MultiTech (cheap). For the remainder of this post, we I will focus only on the cheaper variety called Multitech. Now MultiTech is available ...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

First let me say that Neville is essentially talking about two different things: a) the inabililty of the program to AUTOMATICALLY apply the front fixing bracket boring holes to the back of the drawer front (during the same process as the boring of the slide holes into the carcase) This is the same ...

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

Neville
I have read some of your other posts and realise that you have a Thermwood CNC so that must be really annoying to have to drill them manually??

What about you Jason, how do you deal with this?

Re: Rotating a geometry cutout in Part Editor

Donald Take the benchtop one step further into the part editor into the section called Contour. When you are in that area, right click the top and select Apply Edges Then, using the "Offset" button, you can either select Move or copy. Using this feature, position the lines that you require...

Re: Import Batch From Excel

Larry
I did mean the old way (after the more than 9 items fix), but before version 6's automatic alphabetical listing.

Anyways look forward to the new capabilities which will make a fantastic program even better.

Re: Import Batch From Excel

Josh, I agree with you that applying your own number system as a prefix would allow you to arrange the cabs in a preferred order, of course the dowside is more time, and then adjusting the number if you need to add or delete cabinets (the way I referred to has those two issues as well). What I would...

Re: Import Batch From Excel

Larry Forgetting about Excel for a minute, The batch list itself now acts differently than previously. After the bug fix, the batch used to hold the items in the order that they were added. Since Version 6.2 (maybe 6.1, not sure) they batch now re-orders the items in a sort of alphabetical order. Ca...

Would it help you if eCabinets did apply these holes correctly?

Re: Drawer Slide Front Mounting Hole - Incorrect Orientation

Ryan (Thermwood) **Note - This probelm only exists for people using metal sided drawer systems such as Blum Metabox, Blum Tandem Box, Grass Nova Pro, Hettich Multitech, Hettich Innotech etc. If the program is applying the holes, but simply orientating them the wrong way, and if as Jason pointed out,...
