Sad news. I hope they can get back to work in soon.
As nice as a big central dust collector is, episodes like this reinforce my opinion that each machine (or two) should have a small dedicated collector, that way the whole building isn't a time-bomb.

Skin settings
After installing CN 5.44 we seem to be having an issue where it is leaving a skin on small parts as it should, but is not going back to cut them loose. I haven't seen anyone else report this, is there a new setting somewhere we're missing?

Re: Deck front edge disappears
Not as busy as it should be Damon, but I guess that probably goes for just about everyone huh? Otherwise, it's the best thing we've ever done for our business. The only thing I regret is not having done it five years ago, A) because it has made things so much nicer, and B) because now it would be pa...

Deck front edge disappears
In cab editor, load Std. upper or lower frameless, go to const. settings, uncheck "has deck", click OK. Now open const. settings again and recheck "has deck" (select 3/4 generic material) and click OK. Now click edgebanding editor, and front edge of deck is no longer in the list.

My jaw hit the floor when you said all of that was made from display cubes in eCabs. That's the best use of display cubes I have ever seen. Kudos!

Happy birthday Dan! Here's hoping the next year is better (read "less accident prone") than the previous one.

Re: ridge
Dave, I wouldn't go taking anything apart just yet. Our machine is less than a month old and has been doing the ridge thing from the get-go.

Re: Corner cab help
Another thing to do: Go ahead and make your corner cabinet with either all 3/4" or all 1/4" backs (which is the only option anyway from the cab editor) Place that cabinet in a room and then select it and then go to change materials. From there, you can independently select either the left,...

Shame on you Dan, I'm going to tell her you said that!
Then again, I wouldn't understand her reply.
Never mind!

Re: Flip Op
Hi Gary, Even though I'm a newbie with my machine, I've become intimately familiar with flip-ops (some intentional, some not! ) The part label is identical to any other label except for the bar code and a number under the bar code (which you can type in instead of using the bar code reader) A...

"Press the "F12" function key to do everything you listed except "Explode". This function works in most of the editors. Dennis" Shut my mouth wide open! I thought I knew everything about ecabs (haha), and I just learned something new. Very helpful! Thanks Dennis!

Re: Dimention Points
There is no way to add nodes. This brings up something though, that hopefully the software will do one day: If you make cuts on something in the part editor, thus changing its shape or creating points on it, the nodes should be regenerated for that piece based on the new shape. As it is now, if you ...
