Ecab 3 Day training
Im looking at taking their 3 day course. Could someone who has taken this give me some information on how it is structured, what you got out of it. How did it help you. Was there a huge improvement in your ability to manipulate ecabs. ETC ETC

Re: Laptop
Ok kerry it gave my PC a work out. How about posting a file that can be manipulated on a normal computer that is challenging not something that will bog down a desktop. I want to use Ecab but if I cant manipulate a drawing this is not a good way to convince me to do it.

I just installed ecab on my wifes laptop to see if it works. It is a intel dual core 1.6ghz with 3 Gig of ram and a shared memory Video card. preliminary test shows ecab working ok. I want to stress test it. Can anyone recommend some things for me to try.
Thanks

Re: Version 5.2
Paul,
I know what you mean. i have not committed to Ecab yet still using KCDw and Ecab but I want to sign up for training but not until I see some things fixed. Seeing the progress on 5.2 would sure help me make the decision

Re: switching to 32mm
While I agree it is true if you are using a CNC that the methods used in systems like true 32 are not necessary I would argue that standardization makes life easier. I am not a True32 guy but I have been studying their system and what it does for you is standardize shop procedures and makes it easy ...

Trouble with combining Two Cabs
In Ecab made easy it gives an example of combining two cabinets to make a single unit. When in the cabinet editor it will not let me edit more than one cab at a time. Am I doing something wrong. It also mentions copying and pasting a cabinet in the editor and I have been unsuccessful with that also ...
