Re: Face Frames

Randy,

There are two options I believe:

1. You have to change the sizes in the construction settings before you add them

2. If you have already added them you have to select them by clicking on them and then change them in the constructions settings.

Re: Printing Problem

I can print from the buy list and cut list, but I am still getting the same message when I open up the LDE. It is still telling me to check the print setup, but when I click on print set up nothing happens.

I am still using XP.

Thanks,
Zach

Re: Printing Problem

I tried restarting and the installed the latest drivers. The funny thing it was working fine and is still working fine with other applications. It is only Ecab that is giving me the problem.

Any other suggestions.

Thanks,
Zach

Printing Problem

I had a problem with our printer last week and had to reinstall it. Now when I go into the line drawing editor it gives me a message to make sure the printer setup is correct. I went to the file menu and clicked print setup but nothing came up. I tried printing but nothing is working. I can print fr...

Re: tool man print out

Ryan,

Thanks for the reply. I will give that a shot, but I am thinking that making a Excel file with all the tools even if I have to write them down and bring them in the office. Taking a screen shot of all 40 tools would take some time.

tool man print out

Is there a way to print my list of tooling from the tool manager? Whenever I am in the office or at home on my laptop it would be nice to have my list of tools and their settings for making dxf files.

Thanks,

Re: Machining honeycomb core panels

Dan, I machined some honeycomb a couple years ago that was 3.5" thick. It had 1/2" thick plywood for the skins. I purchased a 1/2" bit with 4" cutting length from a local supplier. I cut in two passes (about 1/2 way for each pass if I remember straight. It cut fine but was very l...

Re: Cad drawings of machine

Ryan,

Thanks for the drawings they made it easier to adjust the position of the machine with the conveyors so I could get an exact layout.

Cad drawings of machine

Thermwood,

Do you have any dxf drawings for a C40 4x8 machine. We are reorganizing and laying out our shop for better efficiency. I saw the dimensional drawings on the site, I was looking for a scaled drawing that I can drag around to find the best fit.

Re: 3cm Solid Surface Material

Kieth, I just tried a 3/8 2-flute rougher/finisher bit with chipbreakers. I ran it at 18000 rpm and about 200ipm in three step passes of approximately .4 each pass. The cut quality was pretty good. We had a small seam that all we did was sanded a little with a block and glued. No matter what bit I h...

Re: 3cm Solid Surface Material

We have been cutting the 3cm Affinity and EOS brand solid surfaces with and 3/8 Onsrud spiral O-flute bit. I would estimate that we get between 15-20 sheets per bit at about 150in/min. I was checking on The Fabrication Network forum and these guys were talking about cutting the 3cm with a bit Pinske...

Re: One Part, More than one Edgebanding, Slab Doors too

I am cutting a job right now with slab doors and the labels have no picture.

I would also like to see different EB materials on the same label.

Re: Bar Rail

Kerry and Brian,

I checked the dxf file and it seems to be all arches and straight lines. I posted the dxf in the ecabinets forum if you want to take a look at it.
