Re: Should this computer configuation work well?
Nick, That system should fly, I agree with Kerry, update drivers and software on your entire system. There have been a few bug's that have caused 'Out of memory' errors, but they have mostly be caught and squashed. Silly question, are you running the latest version of eCabinets? In my experience tha...

Re: I am looking for a new e-mail server
George, You're looking for a e-mail client not server. Thunderbird is a good option as is just using a web based client like gmail etc. Windows live mail is the replacement for outlook express, try that if you don't want to load your system up with lots of software. I use Opera web browser are the m...

Re: Grain On/Off
couldn't you create a sheet stock that didn't have grain?
Our cabinets are build out of white melamine and they get nested in any direction as I didn't select grained in the materials database.

Shopbot Labels
Ok, so how many of you have had a play with the shopbot link??? I had a play, and noticed that I would quite like the labels that get printed out via the link. Does anybody know if this can be done? Can we change the labels in ecabinets? And while I'm on my knees begging, how hard would it be to add...

Kerry, You've got it mate, we are conspiring to force you to join the rest of us in the metric world 8)   I thought with 219 on the forums supporting the conspiracy it would seem a better way of doing things..... Maybe it's just the blood rushing to my head as I walk upside down...

Re: Continuous Pull
Matt, I use this method: Create a sheet in sheet stock with the name and code of the pull you purchase and the length that you purchase it in, and set the height the height of the pull plus a little over twice the collar setting. Give this an Aluminum-like colour. Now create your carcase and add you...

Re: Adding Shelf Lips...
I'm not sure that there is an easy way to do this, but I'd be inclined to use a stretcher.
Maybe some of the other guys could give some other ideas.

Re: Top Hinge Door's
Thanks guys, there is always a workaround and nothing I've found you can't do with eCabinets.
What I'm saying though is that a Top, and Bottom (Thanks Dennis) Hinge option would be good. And a practical feature to add to the software.

Re: Top Hinge Door's
Hi Nick,
Thats a great idea and I must say that I hadn't thought of that.
I tried it just now, and it would be great for creating batches, but I do mostly Custom Layouts.
In Custom layout this just becomes a pain in the butt. Is there something I missed?

Top Hinge Door's
How hard would it be to add a Top Hinge option to the Door/drawer editor? I know you can just rename a door, but that doesn't assign the appropriate hinges when resizing. And though I don't use it I'm sure its frustrating for those that machine hardware holes on a CNC. Just a thought for a release s...

Re: Hoops Error
Wally,
I have had this problem as well.
The work around I use is to place one countertop, save, exit ecabinets, load the job, place the other countertop.
I think the guys at Thermwood are looking into this error.
Hope this helps.
