Re: Inset door margins and hinges

Gene I used the Amerock hinges on my own kitchen that I built five years ago. So far they have held up well. You do have some adjustability with them, vertical, and side to side. You don't have any front to back adjustment like you are used to with euro hinges which means hinge placement on the stil...

Re: Latest kitchen & a design question...

Bob You might try drawing a corner cabinet on the right side that would sit on the counter top. But don't make it short. Make it the same height as the rest of the upper cabs. Visually, that would anchor both ends of that wall of cabinets to the counter top. Then you could play with the short cabs s...

That looks like something I did in the widebelt once..... :) Sure glad the damage wasn't any worse. I'm sure it's a good learning experience.

Looks great Lamar. You pulled a nice color out of the cherry. Mind sharing your finish schedule ? Thanks for posting the pics, it's good to see what other members are doing.

When I first saw the valance, I wondered what you would do with the drapes.....well, you pulled it off. The color and flow of the fabric is nice. Good job !

Hey Gene
there's nothing wrong with a spotless shop....all of these pictures are very impressive. I'm sure most of us who aren't so organized, wish we were. With the volume of work I put out, as a one man shop, I just never have figured it out... :)

In construction settings, select \"Corner Settings\", then select \"angled front\", then Ok. Then click the blue arrow on the main page to define the dimensions of your angled front cabinet.

George This is how I built my single bottle racks. I used a 1 x 2 at front and back instead of a solid partition. Do you guys use solid partitions in your actual cabinet, or did you just use the solid partition for your renderings. I made 1, then copied and pasted the other 2. Seems like a pretty fa...

Thanks for the comments guys. Dan, the \"pub\" look is what we were after. A very small pub as I only had a 7 x 9 space to work with.

Southwestern influence

These pics are from a work in progress. Cabinets are mahagony, tops are walnut, beams in ceiling are hand hewn heart pine from a 18th century log cabin. The posts on the right side cabinet were wind beams in the roof system of the cabin.
