It happened again. I have reverted to CN 5.58. I am getting terribly annoyed right now. I have no explanation. Values differ as well from Z-0.75, Z-0.6875, Z0.0.
I have attached a new export and some pictures.

Re: Cutting into spoil-board
Ryan, I nested both jobs again and again on both machines. Nesting the parts along the "x" the "y". Nesting the drawer parts only and all parts together. I only got one error from all this. It seems to be random and I can't explain it. Meanwhile I will start nesting drawer box pa...

Re: Cutting into spoil-board
Ryan, I would have to test it myself and make sure it appears on a constant basis. I really have no idea why it would show on some occasions. I would let you know how it goes. I am really scared when running boxes now. I found so many problems with the betas and also released versions and now this o...

Re: Cutting into spoil-board
Ryan, that's about the best I can do to help you sort out the problem. I pulled out the g-code generated by the machine and also the print sheets and defect parts so you can find them in the text file. You will see that there's some unnecessary passes and depths. One the first sheet from the pdf fil...

Re: Cutting into spoil-board
Ryan, the tool that made the problem is T302 which is 1/2" compression, it does all outline cuts. The problem happens on small drawer box pieces but again only to some of them. The daylight can't be wrong because it cut all boxes just fine. It happened twice on two different jobs. I still have ...

Re: If you are ever in Colorado
I really like to see people who design their own houses and want to make something different than the others. In USA and Canada people move too much and don't get attached to their houses/ place of birth. All the houses are pretty much the same. I wish people here cared more about design.

Cutting into spoil-board
I got some reports from my operators that the machine likes to cut into the spoil-board only when cutting dovetail drawer boxes. I have no explanation why it's doing that. It does it on some parts on a sheet and not on others. Even if the parts are same size and belong to the same drawer box. Again ...

Re: Quantities in CN Changing to 1
Me and my big mouth. I just installed it and checked if the quantity issue has been fixed. At first it seemed no but then I read this one and I found that everything was correct. I do find it confusing that the part quantity is set to one although you are cutting 4 cabinets (for example). When I pos...

Re: Cutting aluminum sheet
As I said, cutting it will not be an issue. Aluminum from my experience might cut better than some oily hard woods. Cooling however is the main issue. The heat destroyed my tooling. Using coolant is an option, however when I did it I didn't want to soak everything with it and didn't want to make any...

Re: Cutting aluminum sheet
Zach, I tried it once and it sucks. There are special machines that do that and they have cooling liquid that help a lot. Without cooling it's just waste of money. I would never do it again. My recommendation is get the job done outside in a proper metal shop. That's why there are metal CNCs and woo...

Machine just stops
Hi Guys, We've had a strange machine behavior where it will just go into e-stop in the middle of operation. I can't really give you anything more than that. I took a print screen from the PLC history. See if you can make sense of it. I can't. Let me know if I can help you out collect any additional ...

Re: Two CS45 for sale
And although my most sincere efforts you, Brad, are the only person that replied. It's the second time I am posting about this. First time I couldn't get a proper answer to solve my problem. Now I have more things to cut. The material is basically 8'x 4'. The grain goes along the 4'. I a few things ...

Two CS45 for sale
So we're selling two CNCs. The reason - can't cut short grain material. Even if you program it as added material it still won't do it. What's up with that!
Come on guys I am sure you can do it in the next CN 5.59.
In Thermwood we trust.
