<snip>Come on Thermwood forget this windows crap start writing eCabs for Mac. Much less problems. :D Ben, Apple hasn't been very courteous to developers over the years and continues to be a real pain. To my knowledge, Apple has ditched further development of C and C++ libraries (Carbon, I believe) ...

I think (or I hope) Thom was pointing out that 5.2 Build 7 download can be found near the very bottom of the V6 Build 2 page.Bryan J Tanner wrote:Don't mock us Thom

Re: nVidia Quadro Graphics Tweak Utility v1.0.5.1
There likely will not be a version released for Windows Vista or Windows 7. Also note that the Tweak Utility was originally intended for eCabinet Systems 4 and was approved for eCabinet Systems 5. It has not been certified for eCabinet Systems 6.

Mac User? Which Windows Virtualization Software to Use?
Here is a well thought-out article comparing the three virtualization programs for running Windows (or Linux) on a Macintosh. Boot Camp is still by far the best way to run eCabinet Systems on the Mac, but if you must virtualize, then Parallels seems to be the way to go because of its better OpenGL s...

Re: Java program do I need it on my computer?
Java is a runtime library that allows programmers to write a single program that runs on almost any operating system from Solaris, to AIX, Mac OS, Linux, and of course...Windows. Java doesn't come with Windows so if you have it installed, it's a good chance an app you have uses it. One generally doe...

Re: edge quality of cut wavy
Neville, It's been a while since I've worked on machine repair, but if it's wavy in the the X axis, that may mean you need to look at the Y axis for loose bolts or a loose or worn drive belt. I remember being at a machine customer complaining about a similar problem and his ballnut bolts had worked ...

Nope. Jason drives a Tundra. Ken drives a Chevy. I drive a 1998 Dodge. There are a few Fords in the Thermwood parking lot, but not many.Neville Bastian wrote:Geez Dan you are a stirrer. I think Jason drives a Chev so you might get yourself black listed. <snip>

Re: eCabs Expiring! RIP
Thanks Bryan got it! 63Megs for a time update, incredible!!! There are primarily two schools of thought when providing updates: 1-Incremental; 2-Differential. Incremental requires that a new user load the .0 release then load every update between it and the final release, say x.0.6. Differential pr...

Re: Windows 7
Dan is correct, especially when using 64-bit Windows XP, 64-bit Windows Vista or 64-bit Windows 7. The Build 5 update of v5.2 takes care of the SEC1011 issue on these 64-bit O/S's.

Bryan, V6 will still be using the Hoops OpenGL 3D engine, so your graphics card will still fall short. Sorry for the bad news.Bryan J Tanner wrote:<snip>I hope V6 isn't heavier on the hardware stakes.
