Here is a small simple desk. The neat thing about it, other than a few screws holding the laminate top and sides on and some hardware, it's just two sheets of mdf all blind dado together. All designed with e-cab and cut on the Thermwood.

Mike, I usually build framed cabinets. I use mostly two sided prefinished domestic ply. It tends to be flatter than the imports. Also more consistent in thickness. I believe the finish on both sides make a difference. One sided board seams to warp more often. The edges curl up towards the finish sid...

Dale, If you dont have a record of your 901 you will have to find it first (with a board agains the pins touch the edge of the sheet with a tool. 901 is this distance less half the tool diameter). Load the tool length sensor program, highlite the line that says m999 then block step+ answer yes (twic...

Re:
Just wondering if that includes other parts as well as doors? I remember watching some crown molding being nested on a sheet of mdf while I was at Thermwood.Ryan Hochgesang wrote:Brian,
Soon to be released, Profile Modeler will be a part of control nesting as I have told Jeff.
Thanks,
Joe

Brian, Glad to hear you got it working! You can hit the reverse tool path button to get rid of the fuzz, but the parts that arn't fuzzy now will be. Better board will really help, I have had good luck with Plum Creek 2 and Excell+ but have heard Ranger double refined is good also. I will see if I ca...

Brian, Be sure you updated the profile modeler. http://www.thermwood.com/twood_site/pages_2_8_05/profile_modeler/profile_modeler_updates.htmIf it says type #2 to cut back of door, it will cut too deep!! I only used the .25 bit (cool aint it). You use the daylight already set up for that tool. Mine h...

Brian, you should be good to go. I didnt have the 6020 so modeled it with the .25 compression I had loaded. The others some I did earlier. All using the same .25 bit on regular mdf so they were a little hairy but sanded eazy. The photos were took with the web cam on the controler so they are not ver...
