Re: Shopbot Link approaching almost 3.5 years since last update
I am having some issues with the pocket screws and dadoes with this update. I sent the export to Clint and will update when I can re-test.

Re: Line Drawing Editor MAJOR PROBLEM
I had the same crashing problem a while back and found that temporarily disabling my AVG anitvirus software solved it. I also had a problem when I was saving jpegs from the lde to a folder. It would save the dims on the bottoms of bases, but the dims on the top of the uppers wouldn't show up. I fina...

Re: Drawerbox with an interior partition
Stuart the best way I've found to do it is to use an upper cabinet with partitions and fixed shelves. I'll post pic if I can remember how.

Re: Common top and bottom rail between cabs
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your meaning Scott, but I equalize and resize mine all the time using the construction method of running mid stiles to top and bottom rails, then adding mid rails. In my opinion the look is better and it makes for a more stable face frame. I have done it both ways over the...

Re: Common top and bottom rail between cabs
This is an 84" island. I normally do one cabinet as long as I can get it in the house. You can install partitions if you've got say for instance drawer stacks on the outsides and a door in the middle.

Re: Face Frame/Cabinet Height Problem
As I recall Richard, you have to change the deck inset when you change the bottom rail width. Play with it a little bit and I believe that will solve your problem.

Re: How did I screw this up. Main job view reduced to 1/10
It seems to me that I had that happen once and as I recall I had placed a cabinet, or maybe another smaller object and it went way out into the perimeter outside the kitchen. Look around and see if you can find an object or something that you tried to place.

Re: "eCabinets has stopped working"
Wow, talk about a quick response! Thanks Scott and programmers, great job! Apparently, our laptop was somehow defaulting to the onboard video card rather than the high performance Nvidia card. Scott and the programmer (not certain what his name was, but really good) walked me thru setting up the sys...

"eCabinets has stopped working"
We installed Windows 10 on one of our desktops last week with no issues, just needed to generate a new reg code. We installed Windows 10 on our laptop and had to get a new reg code as well. When we put the new reg code in we got the message above "eCabinets has stopped working". We uninsta...

Re: Countertop
Try associating the ctop to the wall. Then pull up the wall view and set the ctop to the height of top of your cabinet. This happens to me once in a while as well.

Re: How Would You Draw This
Dennis, your sides are perfect and if I could turn the cabinet around, making the back the front and vice versa, add a face frame, drawers and doors it would work perfectly for me. Is there an easy way to reverse the cabinet? Thanks

Thanks Dennis, I'm going to work on it. I may look at the video sometime, but I've got three kitchens and this cabinet to do first. Thanks

How Would You Draw This
I can usually figure out how to draw some unusual pieces using Ecabs parts editor, however I can't seem to get this one. This is the side of a cabinet that will go under a stairway and I'd really like to figure out how to CNC it, cut the dadoes, etc. I do have Draftsite, but haven't actually used it...

Re: Odd Occurence(s)
Thanks Scott, I'll look at those things. I'm still curious though as to why this occurred without me making any changes to the software.
