Re: Automatic Updating

Ayberk, the controller might be too close to a window not windows it self. If its cold maybe it needs heating up. A electric blanket may help or a air conditioner on warm cycle. Seriously a Ram upgrade might help for the little cost it is. If your game, a new faster hard drive with a big cache might...

Planits cabnetware postprocessor

I was wondering if anyone is using this Cabnetware postprocessor and could give me a overview on how it works? Does it print labels from the control? Are the labels colour coded like Ecabinets? If there is something in detail on Thermwoods site feel free to give me the link. Would be interested in u...

IWF coming

As much I'd love to go to IWF I won't be there. Is there going to be a live feed again this year? If there is could some one post some highlights onto youtube as we are 12 hours out of step with Atlanta. As much as I'd like to watch what was happening with the staff live at the stand I'd rather be t...

Re: Wireless connection from PC to router

Hi Michael, Our MTR is cabled networked which maybe yours does not have that option. With the wireless if you are having signal strength issues you can boost the signal with a directional antenna or you can have a repeater setup. Which increases the signal by double. You may need to drag in a comput...

Re: Signs from DXF

Gerry, we use artcam for signs and things we find a bit hard through Ecabinets. Are your sure the signwriters software does not export to the Thermwood as Artcam does. I think enroute does as well? Maybe you could get a dxf and send to the Thermwood guys and they could say if it possible? Regards Ne...

Sydney AWISA 11 to 14 July

Does any Ecabinet or Thermwood user want to meet up for Lunch one day of the Awisa event in Sydney. I will be there from Wed to Fri so maybe if others wish to list what days they will there we can find a common day. I think Flecknoe is paying for lunch so that will be good. ha ha only joking. We cou...

Re: Tooling Choices

Hi Chris, We are cutting 5/8 melamine particleboard all the time so our figures are fairly reliable, We use a Onsrud 60-126 mw at 18,000 rpm with feed at 85 feet a minute or in our settings 25to 27m a minute. I have been told by the tooling supplier a client of his runs the same bit at 31meters a mi...

Re: Turning off vacume pumps

Thanks guys, Yes you have given me some thoughtful ideas. The cycle between jobs is probably less than 15minutes so maybe the extra wear and tear on the pumps is not worth while. I noticed the demo version I saw in Sydney had a inverter so it could slow down and ramp up the pumps. Down side was the ...

Turning off vacume pumps

On a bit of a economy drive as my states energy producer is jacking up electricity by 15 percent in July. Is there a way from the controller to turn on and off the pumps? I was hoping I could turn them on when I was ready to start cutting then maybe when the last sheet was cut when it heads back to ...

Re: Machine lash, acceleration, or what?

Hi Jeremy. Glad you solved the quality issue of the tenon cut. I noticed you dropped your feed speed. We did go down that route a few years back but were getting low hrs on the router bits. When we checked with our supplier they said our feed speeds were too low and were actually causing excessive h...

So Jeremy, have you done any more fine tuning or was the last post the answer to the problem?
