Re: Control RAM

Hi Kerry,

Our controller had 512 also it was painfully slow. I installed 3 gig so now we have 3.5 gig. It is a lot faster now. 3 gig might be a little overkill but it was a good price. I also swapped out the hard drive for a new one it was 4 years old so it is good insurance.

Re: Blum Intivo

Hi Nick, I think in some respects Dynaplan is superfluous but other aspects of the program are very useful. The drawings depicting the hole pattern on the drawer fronts is very useful if you are setting up a pattern drill for the fronts. I use the part lists to order hardware also & that saves t...

Re: Blum Intivo

Hi Josh, Maybe we are yet to hear that info here in Canada. The Blum rep here says it is available for $170.00 & as far as they know there is no plan to discontinue it. I will be very disappointed if they do discontinue the software as I use it to order the hardware for all my jobs. As you can s...

Re: Blum Intivo

Hi Josh, At one time the light version of the software was included with the hardcover catalog. Your Blum rep should be able to get you a copy. The full version was under $200.00 and has constant updates for new hardware. I think it is well worth the cost as it has other features like a complete cat...

Re: Blum Intivo

Hi Josh,

Have you tried the Blum Dynaplan software? I use it & it has not given me a wrong dimension yet. Here is the out put from a 3 drawer cabinet.
I could do one for you in standard dimensions if you want they are easy to do just let me know the dimensions you want to use.

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

One of the great aspects of a forum is you can answer one question & avoid having to answer the same question 100 times. It would seem to me that the forum is where these questions should be answered so we all know what the answer is. John, Would you care to share your question & what the an...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

Michael, "Negative words and uninformed attacks" I didn't see any of that! I just see a bunch of concerned machine owners voicing their concerns about where eCabinets is heading. I think Thermwood is a great company but they need to pay attention to their bottom line & it is not beyond...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

I have heard the argument before that the software is free so quit your complaining but for me that does not hold water. I used the eCabinets program for ten years before buying the router. The reason I bought a Thermwood is in part because of the software. This is the only software that is designed...

Re: Is youbuild.com going to be like production sharing???

I must say as a new machine owner I sure don't like what I see on this forum recently. The new time extension update has caused problems for some members and Thermwood has not responded to their concerns at all. I see three posts in the software forum that have no answers. All we are told is the pro...

Re: Supercontrol update

Maybe my question was a little too vague :)
I guess what I would like to know is what are the useable advantages of version 7 over 6 & 8 over 7.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Supercontrol update

Hello , We recently purchased a used 2007 CS 45 that is running version 6 of the super control software. We are considering upgrading to version 7 primarily to be able to run the quickcut program on the machine. The cost of the software upgrade is $1425.00. I would like to know if anybody could advi...

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?

Georgi,

No fear of me running my machine that long. I thought that was interesting about the Busch pumps though. Not something you want to find out after the pump has seized :wall:

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?

Hi , We are in the process of getting our router set up so don't have much to offer on the router side but I just read the manual for our Busch vacuum pump & this seems like it might be a concern for you if you have a Busch RA pump. Quoted from the manual. "The oil separated by the exhaust ...

Re: Table Board Material

Hi Josh,

Have you tried a light weight table board with a standard weight waste board? This is what I thought would work but have not been able to find the light weight MDF in my table size.

Thanks

Re: Table Board Material

There seems to be some confusion because some people have a table board that they do not cut into and use a carry or waste board that they do cut into on the top of the table board . While other folks use just the table board as the waste board. I think with the larger table the carry board makes mo...
