Re: Any trim libraries out there?

Ron,
I use The CD I got from Raymond Enkeboll , You can use their .dwg files. And using the proggie Accutrans change the file type to a .stl file ,
which Ecabs can use. Hope this helps somewhat.

Just my 2 cents worth here. 1st let me say that I have been away from Ecabs for about 18 months now. I have been delving into other software, in the hopes of augmenting my Ecabs images. In all that time I have always been notified by Thermwood of an expiration of the software in a very timely fashio...

This is the reason I have been working with 3ds Max & Poser for the last 18 months. Problem is I can't import to e-cabs so that the models look real, instead of a polygon sketch. I would like to be able to import life-like human models into my presentations. So that just like Jon I can show the ...

Jason, I for one did not mean to be critical of the Co-op. I would love to use it, it's simply a matter of economics for us at the moment. I am currently badgering a shop that I do alot of business with about a CNC. They are in the market. But they need to be sold! I will continue to support this pr...

Ok, now I'll shove my 2 cents worth in..........hehehe! I concur 100% with Micheal. This program allows a person to sub out any part of the production process, they need to. It's what what drew me to the software. I don't have the facilities to cut and assembly some of the work I do. So I sub it out.

Thx for saying ,what I have thought for a long time Joe. I'm just a very small fish in the pond. If I bought thru the Co-op I would either not have much profit, or not get the job. Most of my work involves getting the client pretty pictures to sell the job. Once in a while we take on the commission ...

Well, I never thought that this thread would garner so many responses. Dale, That photo \"is\" worth a million words. It reminds us all that an incident like that is simply a slip away. I don't fear the equipment that I use, maybe I should. I do have a healthy respect for all tools. The on...

Gotta say I agree 100% Kerry. Guess what scared me the most was what the doc told. Just a fraction of an inch could have cost me the use of my primary hand. Guess my point is this. We have to be ever diligent as to what we are doing. Not just in the shop, or field. But everywhere, the slightest mish...

O/T- What do our hands mean to us.

About a week ago one of the cabinet makers in a shop I work with lost a thumb to a table saw. Yes, I realize that this happens all to frequently. However, At about 7:00 pm last nite I was attacked by a neighbors dog. I was bitten badly on my right hand. He narrowly missed severing the tendons. Had t...

O/T: Apologies

I realize that I have been long absent from this board. I regret this, let's just say that my inspiration has been non-existent for some time. I also regret that I have some catching up to do as far as the program goes. Actually my design work is a by product of our installations. People see what we...
