Re: Suggestion
Thanks Josh!!! That is really weird how that phantom side got on there. I also noticed that somehow on the right side, the bottom and middle shelf were sticking through the right side even though those fixed shelves were set up with 1/4" deep dados. Sometimes computers just have their own way o...

Stretcher roadblock
Ok, the other part of this post somehow got stuck in the "Suggestion" post. Not sure how it happened - I clicked on NewTopic and it was placed in the other post. Computers :wall: Anyway - here are some weird dialogs I'm getting after I tried to add a stretcher to this cabinet. I've attache...

Re: Suggestion
I have to apologize. I had clicked on start a new topic for the previous posting and somehow it got placed in this thread. I'm not intentionally trying to hijack the thread. Any way to move it?

Re: Suggestion
I know I'm doing something wrong - I just can't figure out what. I'm trying to add a left-right stretcher with up-down orientation to this cabinet. It keeps telling me the dimensions are unworkable for this cabinet. I need to add a stretcher at the top as a nailer to hold this beast to the wall. It ...

Re: Suggestion
When in the stretcher editor I like to hide the back of the cabinet while I'm adding and adjusting the stretchers. When I do anything in the editor, the back that I hide ALWAYS gets restored back in to view and I have to go hide it again. :wall: When adjusting a stretcher, the same thing happens, hi...

How would I add crown molding to this assembly?
I've attached a kitchen I'm working on and was wondering - the cabinet over the refrigerator has a side panel on each side. The cabinet is inside these side panels. I need to add crown molding around these side panels and the front of the cabinet. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to s...

Thanks Kenneth.
I'm not sure what eCabs has against this particular mortise. Maybe Ryan can check in here?

Funny thing happened ....
When cutting this corner cabinet, a strange thing happened. One mortise didn't get cut. All the other mortises along with their matching tenons were cut. I've attached the cabinet along with pictures of the cutting results. This was all done using ShopBot Link. Anyone have some insight into this? Th...

Re: shelve hole settings
What I've found that works is to first add one shelf with shelf holes. For a 30" tall cabinet I will add 2 up and 8 down (1.5" spacing). Then I will click in the space under that shelf to add another shelf. For this second shelf I turn off shelf holes then add the shelf. I then Equalize th...

Nesting and cut list don't match
I've got a simple 6-drawer bathroom vanity that eCabinets can't decide how many pieces of 3/4" plywood I need to build it. The nesting function lays all the parts out nicely on 1 sheet of 3/4" plywood whereas the Cut List function tells me the vanity needs 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood (33...

Re: Next Release Question
This would truly be a very useful feature in eCabs. My vote is to move it to the top of the list of new/improved features for the next release. :D :D The latest release of eCabs is VERY fast and a real pleasure to use. My productivity has gone up ten-fold. Very few crashes - compared to previous ver...
