Michael and Kerry, I fixture I am referring to was holding the board stock that they were cutting the mouldings for the Credenza. It held 8' long board stock that they carved the mouldings from. I am familiar with the fixture for the five piece doors, but the one I remember was similar to the rotary...

Roger, Actually my manual hold downs are made of mdf. I will cut a small rabbit out and screw it down through the waste board. If you are running multiple parts of the same you can loosen the screws and twist them out of the way while changing parts. I run a lot of fluted pieces this way. It is kind...

Fixture for holding board stock

At the IWF show I remember some type of fixture they were using to hold the board stock in place while running mouldings. Is this something that is available from Thermwood. I can't remember exactly what it look like or how it even worked, but I would be interested in some more info.

Thanks,

Zach

When running board stock I make dedicated waste boards with manual hold downs or I fasten the parts through the back of the spiol board. They make a sheet material similar to double sided tape that come is different widths that also may work. I did try this method before, but found that when running...

Bug in esj file?

I noticed this when I went to nest the job and nothing was coming up. If you look at the cutlist you will see it is requiring a huge number of sheet goods.

Hoping one of the gurus here could give me a hand figuring this one out. I would hate to have to redo the room.

Thanks,

Zach

Dados being treated as pockets

Has anyone ran into this problem before. All cabinets created in Build 10, and they all have blind dado contruction. They are no part editor cuts on any of them. But when I go to nest in CN 5.08 it is treading all my dados as pockets and it wants that correct diameter of tooling to do so. I have nev...

converting and *.ai file

Any of you computer experts know anything about *.ai files and how I could open it up or convert it so I can open it up in BobCad.

Thanks,

Rob, I have cut several rossettes on our machine. I see if I can get you some info on were I purchased my cutters and all my peck drilling feeds. Once you have the feeds set up correctly there is practically no sanding needed on the parts. We also machine all the rossettes and then cut them on our t...

I thought I had already done that, but that evening I went back and tried it again and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the reply though.

G901 Settings Off

I adjusted my 901 settings to run some custom mouldings that I had to fixture. My problem now is that even though I changed them back they are not correct. I checked them several times to make sure it took the changes back to my normal.

Thanks,

Zach

Thanks,
