Re: Way to large mortices

Hi Tim,
Maybe you already do this but I tried a negative .125 fit clearance on a blind dado and it viewed correctly when I wireframed the part. you will still have to deal with the round corner and square peg :) . Probably too late but maybe next time.

global item modification

Good morning, I was looking for info on global item modification. I thought there was a video but I cannot find a number of videos that I thought were in the video library. It was my understanding that you could use global item modification to change items in a cabinet library. Any one got any sugge...

Re: placing cabinets back to back

Thank you Don.This program is very powerful and the learning curve is quite steep for me. I don't use all the features and I am not high production so for lack of practice, some features are a struggle for me.

placing cabinets back to back

Good morning, Today I am doing a custom layout with a large island. The island has cabinets which are back to back and I am having a problem with rotation. When I try to place the cabinet it does not want to align so I end up free style and incremental movement to place it. Is that the way it is sup...

Default construction settings.

Hi everyone, I like the settings and preferences icon that lets me set default room features such as cabinet height, appliance spacing, clearances, etc. Is anyone aware of a similar feature which would allow me to choose my own construction defaults? It would be great if I could set shelf pin hole i...

Re: drawer slide locations

Hi Mark,
WIthout a picture I struggle to understand your situation but I know that the new global item modification Has several options for changing hardware and patterns, perhaps one of those items may do what you are asking.

reverse build wall cutouts in elevation view

Good afternoon, Heres a first for me. I am designing a room and instead of drawing my walls clockwise I went counterclockwise. I noticed that the build direction was on the outside of the room so I simply went to the reverse build option and that put the black reference line inside the room where I ...

additional rendering issues

Good afternoon, A couple of weeks ago I was trying to change a door style on a job to which texture match was applied. Even though a message confirming thathat the change had been made it would not render the new door in the color selected. It applied the texture match I had made previously to the n...

Re: Clearing KD/RTA defaults

Take the unit into cabinet editor, construction settings, toe kick, then change construction settings - left -right- top. There are other ways i am sure, but this should get the job done.

Re: Mirroring A Cabinet

Hi Tracey, I am not sure of the construction methods or the shelf insets but changing your construction method slightly might allow you to build two identical units. For example, if you have a back on your cabinet and all of your partitions and fixed shelves are flush to the front of your cabinet,by...

Goodmorning once again, THis morning I am attempting to change doors on an existing job. I select all my cabinets, go to adjust features, select doors, select a replacement, hit OK. THe program behaves as though things are changing and gives me the message that the change has been made. I then selec...
