Mboards & Processors

I've been replacing the mboard and processor in my computer now for the last few years. I usually try to do it about every three years, but it's been longer than that on this round. I've had the same case, cd rom, graphics card and hard drive for the last three times so I'll probably change them all...

Re: Associating cabs to walls

Okay, gotcha on the hotkeys and thanks. Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing, and yes it says associated with either one or two walls, but the cabinets do not show up when I go to the elevation view. :wall:

Associating cabs to walls

Anybody else having difficulty associating cabinets to walls? I never had any problems until a few days ago. I click the wall, click the cabinet, click on the associate icon and go to the elevation view and nothing there. I think something has changed. When I do it now the box comes up and says wall...

Re: Screwed sheet stock number

I think Michael is right, I just had that happen a week or so ago. Wasn't certain why it happened, but as I think back about it I took a cabinet into the cabinet editor to check out "set labor costs". I didn't make any changes so the cabinet didn't regenerate. That's when I got the negativ...

Re: eCabinet Software Poll

I do pretty much the same as Joe. Then I also add a complexity factor as a %. There are simply some kitchens that you know from experience that are going to take longer to build and finish. I also don't add anything that slows down the computer, instead I add those items in the spreadsheets. Good id...

Re: Corner Sink Bases

Thank you Gene. I couldn't get your download to open, but I see it's an esa, rather than an hsf file. Do I need to convert it somehow? Thanks again.

Re: Corner Sink Bases

Thanks a lot Lamar, that's close to what I had, but I wasn't quite large enough and wasn't certain about sink size with it. You helped answer my questions. Gene I like the look of yours too, would you mind sharing some specs from your experiences with the insets. What do you like/dislike about them ...

Re: Corner Sink Bases

Right Wally. Right now they have a smaller sink that looks like it will fit in a 30" cabinet. Yes Lamar, I drew one pretty similar to what you have, but in order to get a full-size sink in it, it looks like it needs to have at least approx 41" backs, is that right? Would you mind sharing y...

Corner Sink Bases

I’m in the process of working on a bid that will include a corner sink base. I haven’t (and hoped I wouldn’t) run into one, but now’s the time. I’ve got windows in the corners so no uppers and I know some like inset bases, and some prefer other ways with extended stiles. I’d like to garner ideas and...

Re: Prefinished VCP

Rick I've been using the pf for the last year or so. I do all ff cabinetry and use it for sides, backs, tops, shelves, decks, and drawers. It saves a lot of time. I never use it on fin ends since most of mine are rp or fp and I use a duller finish than that used on the vc. The finish is decent and d...

Re: Frustrated with eCabinet Systems??

I've never really had a problem of "over editing" a cabinet. Once in a while with shelves or face frames I'll change them and they don't seem to take. I've learned that when I want to make certain they take (such as changing materials) to click on them individually then make the change, th...

A wider variety of doors would be nice, I'd especially like to see some some mullion styles.

Re: Continued printing problems from line drawings

I had a similar problem the other day when I printed some optimizations in nesting. The problem wasn't there before the last update.
