Thanks Rick,
I'll do the same.

Grouping parts
I'm wondering if anyone has fond a way to include end panels with the 'Group Parts' feature. I have a job that will be contemporary styling that has all slab door and drawer fronts with the grain (rift sawn maple) running horizontal thru out the cabinet fronts. It looks like we cant group parts betw...

Re: Door pulls and knobs
Thanks Guys,
I've got them installed now. Sometimes clients need a handle to make up their minds.
Much appreciated,
Tim

Door pulls and knobs
Can anyone remind me where to find the 3-d images to select thru the items panel in order to place them on the cabinet in door editor?
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Feature Requests
O.K., my alternate example should be laid out like a cross but is instead justified left. I hope you get what I'm suggesting.

Re: Feature Requests
Clean up the GUI. Don't add anything until the user interface gets cleaned up. Hopefully by a good graphic designer. Try using good graphic layout using visual feedback for the user inputs. I would trade a clean, visually helpful GUI for any new feature at this point. Bottom tenon inset: Top tenon i...

Re: Oi vai, these corner cabs!
Hi Kerry, Been tied up in the shop and havn't gotten back to this stcky cab. Thanks again for having a look at it. One of the things that still puzzles me is the idea that the "Left back flush simply means that the left back will extend behind the left end as opposed to dying into the left end&...

Re: Oi vai, these corner cabs!
Hi Kerry Thanks for taking the time with this. A few of the measurements are off by .25"- .75" on the widths of the back panels. Also noticed that you, too, had to juke those left back flush numbers from anything I'm pulling off the cad drawing. My thinking is that if you've got to roll up...

Re: Oi vai, these corner cabs!
Jason, I agree. A thing of beauty it aint. It's going in a concrete corner cubby in an 8 sided structure that has no closets. Owner is trying to get every last bit of storage so.... I agree that the notion of bailing on the E-cabs route and drawing it up in a simpler program may make the most sense....

Oi vai, these corner cabs!
Started in on this cab shortly after noon and I still can't get it. I've included a cabinet file that I last worked on and a DXF file of what the cabinet is supposed to be viewed from the top. It is going into a concrete alcove and will have some heat generating appliances. Hence the vent slots in t...

Re: Part editor problem
Thanks Scott,
I haven't seen any more issues in this job with the part editor so that makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to look at it. I'll know next time to look closely at the geometry when I get the message.

Re: Part editor problem
Thanks Scott & Randall,
Busy Monday but I finally managed to figure out how to Zip a file in Win7 (still getting used to the levers and controls). Thanks for having a look at it.

Re: Part editor problem
Hi Scott,
Here is the cabinet assembly with an upper standard cabinet being modified as a roll out tray. The DXF geometry file doesn't seem to be allowed to post so I will try getting that file to you some other way.
Thanks for the help,
Tim

Part editor problem
Has anyone come across this one? I've had a difficult time with the part editor crating a part using closed contour. I've never had this message but thought someone else might have encountered it and if so is there a solution.
Thanks for any help,
Tim

Re: Tool error
Ran some of Fridays jobs thru the link and all went well. Ran latest job thru TWD thru the link and it blew another O ring. Regenerated the TWD for this job and tooling error went away. Looks like a dirty TWD file can happen. Looks like it's writing the Link file to the SB fine now with regenerated ...
