Re: Wouldn't be nice if...

2 votes for that.

Duplicate left or right has never worked the way I think it should.

I want to select a cabinet then duplicate left or right and get one duplicate, not a full wall.

Re: Resizing a display panel

Chris, It will be easier for me to show you one of my library cabinets. These cabinets resize great in width and depth. If you re-size height you need to change some settings in the stretcher editor after the re-size. The addition of formulas to the stretcher editor would fix this. The other problem...

Re: Corner cabinet faceframe changes

Don, Remember eCabinets creates scribe by shrinking the box behind the face frame. If you add 1 1/2" scribe to your cabinet, you will need to add 1 1/2" Front Width to your cabinet to keep the face frame opening size the same. Note: This will change the width of the left and right backs on...

Re: Thoughts on drawer methods and systems

Mark, Our cabinet libraries have generic door and drawer fronts, drawer boxes and hardware. I load those into the design and when the design is complete and ready to nest, I change to the correct doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes and hardware. using Global Item Modification. This is the only way I ...

Re: Wouldn't be nice if...

Leo, This isn't exactly what you are looking for, but in my library cabinets I set a minimum Increment for depth for the depth drawer I want in Construction Settings/Add Door/Drawer Settings and add drawer box settings. Now if I increase the depth of the cabinet the drawer stays the same. drawer.jpg

Re: Blanking out the KD fastener in lock tenon

Gene,
I created a KD hole pattern with no depth and called it NO RTA. I apply this as the KD fastener to parts I don't want a hole drilled.

For the pattern I just used the 1/8" through drill pattern like you are using and gave it no depth.

Define Costs not adjusting Board Stock for yield

If I run a cut list with the board stock yield settings at 100% or 50% I get the same board foot summary count.
Sheet stock items adjust for yield but not board stock.

Re: Wouldn't be nice if...

Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to live with constant fear of a software crash when we enter or exit the Line Drawing Editor, or while changing fonts in the Line Drawing Editor, or printing from the Line Drawing Editor.

Re: Corner cabinet with acute angled back

The back on this cabinet is a stretcher. You have to go back to the stretcher editor and play with it every time you re-size width. I still have the back as a phantom part to get the adjustable shelf hole pattern to use on the stretcher. I think a better way to do this might be to forget the stretch...
