Posting a cabinet
I would like to cut dados in the rear stretcher legs for the 1/2" back. Ecabs only allows me a front and rear view so I can't use any kind of straight cutter. I have done it using a slot cutting bit and the profile edge option but that performs a cut down the entire length of the piece and I ne...

Re: Stretcher adjustments based on a cabinet part
The "advanced" settings are to associate the inset to a part. I always try to set things up with "0" insets. So for example is I want a stretcher flush to the front of a cabinet I will go to advance settings and set inset #3 to left end/front or right end/front and click okay. No...

Changing grain direction
Is it possible to change the direction of cabinet backs so if I have a cabinet that is 40" tall and 95" wide I can install the back accordingly so as not to have a seam. I see that I can manipulate the grain direction but doesn't change the width and length specs.

Re: Create Seam?
You can use a stretcher. For example if you have a cabinet that requires a wider/longer back than a piece of sheet stock. Replace the back with two stretchers or give the back an inset that will size it under the max sheet size and add a stretcher for the remaining opening.

Any way to import pulls
The "pulls" library from ecabs is really dated. Would really like to display some modern 6/8/12" contemporary pulls. Anyway to achieve this?

Re: Suggestions on how to drill three sets of shelf pin holes
There is a setting for adding a center row under Add Shelf settings using the apply shelf hole settings Yes, but I don't believe you can specify the location from the front or back edge. It only palces the holes centered between the front and rear holes. I also don't know what the "single row ...

Scott I had no issues updating. You could try turning off your firewall.

Re: Ok, stupid question....
Yes, as tim said, you must associate all display parts to a cabinet. Click on and highlight the display part. Double click on the cabinet. Right click to access the drop down menu and click on associate to cabinet.
