Re: Cabinet Finish

Kerry,
We use a lot of ML Campbell primer, opaques and clear top coats.
My wife has used the stains at their seminars, but we don't use them as a rule. However, we do really like their primer for mdf and clears for wood drawers.

Sawstop Horsepower?

I get my cabinets cut out on a router, but I still need a limited use table saw. Has anyone tried a Sawstop? I'm wondering if we could use the 1 3/4 hp or if we should go with the 3 hp? I know 90% will say 3hp, but I'm hoping somebody has used the 1 3/4 hp and gotten away with it. Please let me know...

Would like someone to bid/cut these.

I have a customer who is wanting 10 to 20 drawer dividers. These would need to be cut out of a 2 or 3" thick butcher block with bins for utensils and such. Unfortunately, of them, there is only a couple of them that would be duplicates. Most would be one each. I hope this is in the right forum....

Plywood thickness vs bottom rail

I usually build mdf boxes, but on sink cabinets I use a plywood deck. I'm using a 3/4" plywood deck and a 1 1/2" bottom rail with a bottom inset of 3/4" on the deck. Then we adjust the material thickness of the plywood while creating the tdf file. The plywood isn't quite full thicknes...

Re: Dell laptop?

I bought it from the dell outlet store online.
check in refurbished, under small business.
It's a workstation and an individual can't buy it.
That's why you have to buy it under the business category.

Re: Dell laptop?

I purchased a M90 for around 800 and it works great. The Quadro 2500 is a battery hog when not plugged in, but I'm rarely far from a plug.
I would definitely purchase this laptop again.

Re: Hardware Patterns

I'm not sure about blum, but salice offers a formula inside the front cover of their book. You simply take the desired overlay needed versus the crank value of the hinge and the thickness of the mounting plate and input them into the formula and it gives you the required tab distance( cup distance f...

Corner cabinet formula needed

On a corner angled front cabinet.
I'm hoping someone can tell me how to determine the width of the back on a 16" deep upper, who's angled front measures 18" wide.
I'm hoping someone can give me a formula.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Positioning water pipe

Rick, I did this as I have for about 3 years but it isn't showing the dimensions to the left. Just a note. The snap marker was until I lengthened the wall by 1/2" and then it doesn't either. I entered three more pipes to see if they would and they wouldn't either. By the way, I'm liking most of...

Dados nor being cut all the way to the end

I am still having the problem way too often of full dadoes not being cut all the way to the end of the shelf or partition that slides into it. I don't have this problem on blind dadoes just full dadoes. This is the dado in either the back or deck on partitions, and the left and right end on fixed sh...

Re: Details of parts when cursor is over a part

I was having this same problem a few months ago. It corrected itself, then arose again for about a month.
My settings were correct.
It has been back to normal for at least a month. My experience told me to just be patient and it might fix itself.

Re: Frame flush to inside

We keep a router table set up with that bit on it.
Thinking about using a shaper though. It is a rather HOG of a bit.
