Re: Drawer box problem in version 5.2 and 5.1

Hi, Dan. I had the same problem in 5.2 and the guys at Thermwood said there is a problem and they are working on a patch. In the mean time I found that if I set my tennon to 49% everything works OK. Hope this helps. 8)

Re: Need Input-Over my dead body

Paul, I used another software for 20+ years until I bought a Thermwood CNC router about 10 months ago. The difference between what I was using and ecabinets is profound and the learning curve was pretty steep but I stuck with ecabinets and am glad I did. The cost was one factor but, also, I think it...

Re: build in house doors

William, when you open the cut list there is a board stock summary which shows all of the board stock in the job. The problem I have had is the door stock is not separated from face frame stock, all the board stock is listed together. Also, I have not found where the board stock is listed for the dr...

Re: Corner cabinets

Jean, you can get them where you want but you need to use weird left to right measurements like -11.5 or 12. stuff like that. It is a process of trial and error. I have had this same issue pop up from time to time and I have not figured out why it happens. Hope this helps. 8)

DRAWER BOX ERROR

After installing the 5.2 update I now have an error in the drawer box editor. When I add a drawer box the first message reads; "Failed in generating CNC data." I hit OK and this message pops up; "There was an unexpected error while handeling CNC data operation in Drawer Box edditor. R...

Re: Rough Cut Panels(Beware of math below)

I suggest you use the cut list and not the nest diagram. The nest diagram is optimized and works real well with a CNC macnine but, I think, it would be much faster to simply use the cut list. You will not be optimizing your material but you will save a ton of time. I know that material costs are imp...

Re: Rough Cut Panels(Beware of math below)

Eric, are you cutting these panels on a router or are you using a dimension saw? If you are not using a router you may want to print a cut list and cut your parts off of that instead of the nest diagram. 8)

Re: Restart to a line in RP-FR-MF0005

Dan, I have run this program and you can restart it. The way we did it was to write down what line of code the tool changes happen on and restart there. The lines of code are incripted but you can reed the line numbers. You have to watch the machine to see when these occur but it can be done. It is ...

Re: toe kick construction

Glenn, the front of the toe is the top rail, the back of the toe is the cabinet back, the right and left are cabinet ends, and the stretchers are cabinet partitions.
