Re: corner cabinet mitered backs

Cutting a 45 angle in a nest I found this discussion last night, and it answers allot of my questions. But I wonder about the DXF file you are creating, and nesting. Do you create a different file for each size you will be cutting, then check off the backs which need mitering in the e cab file? To c...

I would like to use my router to cut a 22.5 degree bevel edge for joining with adjacent back to create one of the two 45 deg joints in the backs of a corner cabinet with clipped corner. could it be as easy as drawing the profile cut in e cab...

Re: .2 back with .25 bit ??

Could the problem be with a setting of 0 for the collar in the nesting? And the router not able to cut a .2 dado using a 2.5 bit because there is no room for the .5 to hang over the side panel back edge.

Re: Size of Blind Dado on Stretcher

Jon I think the strecher was added in the up down orentation and then rotated to the front to back orientatio, but upside down. This is why the top/bottom tenion switch was working backwards. In the upside down posision the front inset onthe sides were affecting the dados. I deleted the strecher and...
