Upgrading memory
Right now I have 512MB PC2-3200 (CL3) memory in my P4 2.8Ghz Dell. All of the upgrades of memory are rated at PC2-4200 and up. I plan on getting 2GB more. If I mix the two speeds, my new memory will be at the mercy of the slower speed memory existing in the computer now. Is it better (faster) to rem...

What I think his problem might be is that the file is to large to send by way of email. Most ISP's set limits on how large of a file they allow you to send. I have a subscription to a service called X-Drive which is on online storage/sharing area set up to be an Internet hard drive. You can upload f...

POOF!! Gone.
On several occasions I have had the eCab software just disappear off the screen in the middle of a job. What I trying to say is that I am working on a job and do some input and the software just blinks out and the program just ends itself, instantly. No warning, no error message, completely out of t...

Mitered Corner On Angle Upper
I have an Face Framed Angled Upper cabinet that I can't get the face frame edges to be mitered. I think I have the appropriate box checked in the construction settings ANGLED FRONT FACE FRAME SETTING box is checked. What else do I need to do. I tried removing the FF and installing it after the box w...

I was wondering...
If the Constraint Manager was to be use in this fashion. Lately I have been designing the top rails of my cabinets with designs to make them more appealing. Usually for open shelving and not cabinets with doors. But when I am designing them in the parts editor, in the beginning when I was new to eCa...

OK I messed around with it some and went back to my original formula with a modification to make it work. Instead of (h-7)/3 I made it into .333*(h-7) which shows up as .333(h-7) but still works the same as your h/3-2.33 which is much less intuitive. I think one of the problems I was having is that ...

Re:
Maybe this is one of the reasons I don't like the constraint manager  Leo and I both were trying our best to constrain the WIDTH of the part to the WIDTH of the cabinet as one would look at the part ON the cabinet. That area could be a little more intuitive when it comes to the help for formul...

Re:
Here is what I'm talking about with the funky change. The constraint is w-1. Notice that the top arc disappeared and the constraint is at the bottom??? Wow, to think I might be able to teach a guru something. Dan, you need to trap the arcs within the constraint editor. You have to give them real nu...
