Re: C40 X Axis Lead Ball Screw
While in Marius' case the issue is probably wear in some cases improper circle cut could be caused by high feed speeds. I've had this issue as well and whenever I cut small diameter circles I reduce the feed speed dramatically just to make sure the machine can take it. I am talking circles that are ...

Re: Top to Stretch - Dado cut on wrong side
I reported something like that in the beta forum. Scott knows about it and mentioned it's going to be fixed in the next release. Mine was a full dado that looked good in eCabinets but was cut on the opposite side on the machine

Re: New Build or Patch?
Hi Guys, Sorry for the late response. I meant to answer last week but forgot and I just got back from a show in TX. Our programmers are currently working hard on a different project (which I can't get into any details on) but it does involve eCabinets. When we do come out with a new update, it shou...

Re: Funny machine behavior
Changing the tool position seems to have solved the problem. However I would need a bit more time to make sure it all works fine. "Weird or what?"

Re: Funny machine behavior
It happened again. I've attached a couple of print screens of the PLC history showing what's going through machine's mind. One is from the morning and the second happened just now.

Funny machine behavior
Hi Guys, We've been having some funny behavior on one of our machines. When cutting dovetail drawer boxes the machine goes and picks up the dovetail tool and while still in the macro will either keep going up on the z axis until it goes out of bound and into emergency or, which is the more severe ca...

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?
Neville, I couldn't catch the first part of your reply. I sense joke but it might be cultural. I guess when you see my name you can guess that English may not be my fist language. Anyways I am fresh off the boat as you may refer. Anyways to the question. I can't really compare as we have the same se...

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?
Georgi, No fear of me running my machine that long. I thought that was interesting about the Busch pumps though. Not something you want to find out after the pump has seized :wall: Gerry After 4 years on our first CNC and 3 years on our second CNC we finally set up maintenance check on our 3 Busch ...

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?
Hi , We are in the process of getting our router set up so don't have much to offer on the router side but I just read the manual for our Busch vacuum pump & this seems like it might be a concern for you if you have a Busch RA pump. Quoted from the manual. "The oil separated by the exhaust...

Re: How long can the Machine Run for?
Did you guys have problem with the computer trying to nest all those sheets? I've notice that when ever I try to nest more than 40 sheets the computer takes a long time to calculate machining and nesting. We use all dovetail boxes and blind dado construction. When you say 189 sheets - what parts are...

KD/RTAs
Hello Everybody. Has anyone figured out a way to make KD/RTAs work with the 32mm system. Say, start from the front edge of the cabinet only and place holes in 32mm increments only. I want to make dowel construction and need to figure out a way to cheat the offsets and the max distance. It splits the...

Gary, there are no bugs to complain about. Told you the pizza was a bad idea. Should have been booze. Scott has done a great job removing all problems one by one. Seems CN has been some what of a problem but overall good work there too.

Re: Blind dado and outline cut not aligning - Help
Hey Daniel, yes it's on the tenons. I examined the g-code as well but there seems to be no problem at least as far as I can see. The cut done by the 1/4" tool does not align with the outline cut of the 1/2" compression bit. I did the post to see if anyone else have noticed something like t...

Here's the export and the g-code for the 1/2" (0.5625") thick material only.
