The same thing happens here but like you said, Vince, only on occasion. I do what Justin recommended and zoom out until the rendering fits. 8)

Re: Multi pass

Lafras, the way I do it is to change my waste board thickness. For instance, if my waste board is 5mm I would tell the computer that it is 20mm and run the program, then reset the waste board thickness to 15mm and run the program agian. Continue until you have cut through your 20mm part. This is a l...

Re: Hole pattern on drawers.

I don't think that is possible. There are alot of requests to be able to take the drawer box parts to the part editor and until that is possible you will not be able to put slide holes on the drawer sides. (I think) 8)

Re: Hole pattern on drawers.

Patrick, if you are asking about the hardware holes for the slides then, yes. First though you must select a drawer slide in the drawer box section of cabinet editor and associate a hole pattern. If this is unclear keep asking questions. 8)

Re: captive backs

Brian, make sure that you set the top, deck, and sides to be flush on the back in the cabinet editor. Then what you are trying to do will work.

Re: problem with blind datos on drawer box

Hi, Dan. As Justin said I think the latest version of eCabinets fixes this problem. I use 1/2" pre finished apple plywood for my drawer boxes so what I did, befor the fix was in, was to change to 49% and use a 3/16" downspiral for making the mortise cuts. This works great and I am not plan...

Re: Top Rail

Do you have a cnc router? If so, you would need to create the top rail as a display panel (the panel would be the same size as the top rail) separate from the face frame, take it to the part editor, and create the geometry needed. This part could be cut on the router. It might be small so holding it...

Re: Top Rail

You are right, Gary. Take the top rail to the part editor and select the three point arc icon not the circle. That way you can designate the two end points and the center point of your arch. If you need to figure the radius go to http://www.curvedmouldings.com/download/archchrt.xls and you can downl...

Re: tooling question

Dave, I use a 3/16'" down spiral for cutting the groove for my backs too and it works great. For the pockets you can do a couple of things. If the pocket size is 1/4" you could perform the operation as a "drill" and use a 1/4" up spiral. If the pocket is 5/16" you could...

Re: Production Sharing

Hi, Terry. Here in California I have been charging $175.00 an hour. I have seen, on this fourm, where other shops charge by the sheet. I think you will need to do what works best for you as there is not a standard that I am aware of. 8)

Re: toe kick

Nemanja, if you are trying to do what I have ilustrated simply make the face frame material sheet stock, delete all of the face frame parts but the bottom rail, and make the deck blind dado into the face frame. Hope this helps. If I am totally off base let me know. 8) TOE SAMPLE 2.jpg TOE SAMPLE 1.j...

Re: Machine Placement

My shop is only 4000 square feet so I located the router close to an outside wall, put my pump outside, and built a cover to keep it out of the rain and sun.
