Another one for the wish list

When adding mid stiles and mid rails, could we have an option to place a fixed shelf or partition behind it. Sort of like adding a drawer box behind a drawer face. There could be a check box to check if you wish to add or not along with the parameters. I have been doing a lot of built in entertainme...

Jeff, I have a kitchen that has a step down also. Instead of using the display cube for the lower part I used it for the upper and made my walls taller. My walls didn't have any angles , but if they did I could have used the part editor to make them. I don't know of a site to review machines but I h...

Neal, it does mean you need another program. Microsoft Excel is the name of the program. You can buy it separately or as part of a bundle with Microsoft Office. It is a program that, after you create the spreadsheet, you can sort, edit and manipulate the data many different ways. Some people find it...

The way I select covered items is dragging a green select box over the area I want. That highlights all items the box touches, then double click the items I don't want selected and it leaves the hidden item selected.

Here's our latest install. We attached cleats to the wall and to the back of the cabinet to hold it up. The back is 3/4 inch plywood as are the cleats. The customer was quite happy. That means I am too. :D :D http://jlcustomcabinets.com/assets/images/Bedroom_EC02.jpg http://jlcustomcabinets.com/asse...

Numeric positioning

Sometimes when trying to use the numeric position boxes when shifting a cabinet, it will not take. I can have the insert freestyle method set but when I change the position, say from the bottom to 0 it bumps the cabinets to some odd position like 1 9/16 and the only way I can position the cabinet is...

Gene, I have had this happen several times, the part is fine until I resized the cabinet, then the sliver appears. So it's back to the PE to redo the part.

Mark, thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time too.

Short answer is no. There have been some who have found a way to add a stile using a display board (I think), but I'm not sure how it was done.

Kerry, I have gotten a few things from Kimrick myself, they are about 20 minutes away from me. They are great to work with. It's kind of funny, they have a sign on their warehouse door that forbids photography. I guess they are pretty protective of their stuff.
