Re: Off Fall in CN 5.49

Joe,

Could you be more specific with how the off-fall is "more usable"?

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

For those interested in this post, Neville was able to find his problem. Apparently the tracks for the head on his machine were loose. This caused the cuts to be erratic.

Re: Update installed, but keeps restarting itself!

If the message is looking for the 5.2 Build 6 msi, you should re-run this update and select the Remove option. Hopefully that will remove it. When an installer is popping up trying to install it is normally due to a file that came with the installation being altered or removed. Here is a link to the...

Re: Version 6 Images

The install does not delete any material data. You still have the images in your 5.2 installation directory.

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

We have received your files from running Control Nesting twice and there are no differences in them. So it appears the software is creating the programs correctly. Running Control Nesting twice doesn't appear to have made a difference. All we can do at this point is look at a cnc program that you cl...

Re: edge quality of cut wavy

Neville, You mentioned your machine table is 1900 x 3700. Put this for your table size in Settings and I believe you will see the buttons. The table size is merely for Control Nesting to graphically display the machine table. It will not affect the programs generated by Control Nesting. Sorry for th...

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

Ok. Lets do this. Run Control Nesting to create a cnc file the first time. Save this cnc file from THM and name it "first_run.cnc". Then run Control Nesting a 2nd time and save the cnc file. Name it "second_run.cnc". Post these files or send them to program@thermwood.com. We will...

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

Just another note on this issue. All the jobs that you have sent in for this have had edgebanding on the parts. The sizes are cutting correctly based on this edgebanding. Please insure your measurements are based on the part size giving allowance for edgebanding thickness.

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

The Export sent in has a job loaded that was not included in the emails. I am having a problem locating what your are talking about. Please offer me precise detail. With the Export Blake sent in I get the attached Sheet 2 results. He stated that the problem exists on the second sheet. So in this exa...

Re: New CN controller and Vr6

Neville, I have looked at the files Blake sent in. Unfortunately he only sent the job files and cnc files. From this limited information I can not see a problem. The parts are sized based on the edgebanding applied. I did notice that some of your parts have edgebanding on all sides while other parts...

Looks like this is the same post that you have in the Beta forum. Please attach the Control Nesting export and eCabinet files so we can reproduce the issue.

Re: SB Link Tenon Dado Cut Direction

Gary, We are adding the cut through value to the non-outline through cuts. This was an oversight that surprisingly has never been noticed until recently. We will change the pre-ramp to cut to operation depth when the pre-ramp is too large. It has always been set to not do a pre-ramp in this circumst...
